Hi Pam. Just stopping by to send you some warm wishes from the south. it's only supposed to hit the mid 40s here today but I know it's got to be warmer than CT.

Hope you are doing well!

Helllo !
I've been in the hospital, due to a shortness of breath problem...They decided it was caused by low magnesium levels, put me on meds, took me off of MF until Saturday and asked me if I ever considered gastric by-pass surgery !!! :x :x :x :x :x :x :x :x :x :x :x :x :x :x :x

Needless to say it has been a discouraging week...

However, I am drinking 4 glasses of skim milk and having my L&G at night...Until Saturday, and then I can resume my plan...

Sure did miss you guys !! :D

hey there wilson!!! No i haven't asked brenda yet but... Anyhoo, sorry about the hospitalization. Hope you are feeling much better now. Gastric bypass???? Are they kidding???? Uh, don't they realize that normally that should be a LAST resort? Uh, don't they realize, you were already trying to take a non surgical route? I guess some doctors just don't understand. Well hopefully, you will be back with us in no time, until then...enjoy those glasses of milk girlie! Take care.

Wilson Wilson Wilson... You will just do anything to have a good explanation for not winning the contest won't ya! tsk tsk tsk!

I can't believe that the medical "professionals" would even think of turning toward major major and very risky surgery when the answer is right there in those little MF packets! They have all the nutrition you need and if you are a little low on something (like I was low on Calcium and Vit D) you can supplement with vitamins. How dare they mess you up like that!

Well, I guess that just gives me a chance to get that much more ahead of you towards that money!

You just don't give up do you? Posting that smack talk in my journal...tsk tsk tsk...

BTW, Wilson, I swear I am hearing voices, like you talking to me... if it keeps up, I may just start talking back. ;)

WILSON! We need to make more rope so we can lasso all the other contestants and pull them along with us. I keep saying that when I win, I don't want it to be by a comlete landslide.

Oh, BTW - was there any particular outfit in my recent pictures that you would consider "your style"? Those are some of the new things I got at the store I was telling you about. Any potential for those to be the one we have been talking about as encouragement for you?

Well, I know that Wal Mart carries a Curves and a Weight Watchers scale -they both seem to be reliable. Just remember, no two scales are going to be exact, but as long as you keep track on just one you should be OK. The one I had when I started MF was very frustrating - I could get on it 10 times in 5 minutes and get 10 VERY different weights. That one is GONE now.

Remember, stress will hinder your weight loss. I know that there are a ton of things going on in your life that are VERY far beyond your control, but keep praying and giving those situations over to God (then leave them alone). He knows what is best for us even when we can't figure it out.

Keep your chin up and take it one shake at a time. Hopefully your package will arrive tomorrow and you will have more incentive with the suprises I sent to you AND more fun with the different product.

Remember, we are in this together, and we can do it!!

SHHHH - this is a secret, but I think I might be willing to share that prize money with you. I will take the "inches" win and you get the "weight" win. But that is just between you and me OK. :D

My weight watchers scale is exact to 2/10 of a pound. Really. I love it.

I have a Curves scale that i ordered from AVON. Has the whole body fat, hydration % and bone mass % (although i don't know how accurate THEY are. The scale weighs in 1/10 lb increments which is not always great for a scale junkie. I bought it about 2 months before i started MF again (10/08 ) ~ i love it.
