I'm here...My day was peaceful, because of all of you !! :heart:

Took my daughter to the dr's to see if she had strep...Nope, so back to school she went and I decided to take the rest of the day off...
In doing so, I realized that all of the prayers that are being said were definately being answered ! Here's why...

I asked my DH if he wanted to go out and pick out our daughters Birthday presents (her Birthday is Thursday) after his dr's appointment...I was surprised when he said yes...

Biki- I hope you're listening- I walked out of Toys R Us and there was a woman (no exaggeration) that looked just like you walking into the store, with a BCBG pink hoodie on !! I really must have looked like I had a problem as just stared at her!

We got everything that my daughter will love... then I suggested that we go out to lunch- we did that successfully, talked a little about his dr's appointment, and finances, etc...then we went and looked at a new condo (over 55 place) where my parents want to live- did that and met my parents there, and took a tour of the model.

After that we each had separate errands to do...

I felt all of the positive energy that you were all sending...Thank you for those "selfless" gifts from your heart...

I feel better and have a little more "hope" than I had a few days ago...I will keep praying...

Our God is an Awsome God!! Keep those lines of communication open with the hubby and keep working at it. I like the saying that "God won't give us anything we can't handle", but I like it better when we say "He won't give us anything He can't handle through us." Keep your chin up and get lots of rest for your busy day tomorrow and :birthday:

Today my daughter is still sick with that darn sore throat...Two years ago she had her tonsilis and adeniods removed, as she constantly got strep every other month. So I am still cautious when she gets a sioe throat that lingers....Since tommorow is her actual birthday, I decided to let her stay home with her Dad today and let her body rest...

I have to go soon and get ready for another day at school....I really love my job and every day is an adventure. Perhaps todays adventures will give me what I need...

Still praying for the relationship with DH to improve...
Patience will have to be tolerated Pamela !

I think TOM is finally going to arrive....Each day I have had PMS symptoms but nothing has happened...Really feels like the real thing could come today... No matter what I will make sure my daughter has a great birthday !

This is kinda out of the blue, but I was catching up a little and ... if you have plantar fasciitis, please, PLEASE get some Nike Shox and start wearing them as often as possible. I tried EVERYthing for it, including the special nighttime boot, and nothing helped until I moved to Texas and my new doc recommended these (he said nothing had helped his wife, either). I started wearing them every day, and my problem completely disappeared!!

Then about a year later I found out my brother had the same thing. I suggested Shox. He resisted at first because he thinks (or his wife thinks) they look stupid. Eventually he gave in and got a pair, and now he wears them all the time and said his heel pain is completely gone.

I'm no doctor (and I don't work for Nike), but it's certainly worth a shot.

Hi Pam! It's your long lost friend! I'm finally finding the time to catch up on some of the posts I've been missing. WOW, so much has happened to everyone.

Glad to hear you made it through your challenges in Newport and it sounds like you've gotten a great deal of support from the gals here in the past few days. Just remember what we all talked about a few weeks ago about taking care of yourself first so you will be better for those you love.

I was thrilled when I saw your ticker tonight. So happy you are seeing results.

I hope you and Kate have a great day tomorrow on her birthday. How lucky she is to have such a caring mother!
