Thanks Leigh !

I just read your post and thought WOW ! this girl is smokin' on this plan !
It was a great inspiration to read...

I am motivated this time and what better time to do it, when the snow is flying, and schools are closed... and we are shrinking by the moment !

I can say that I look forward to the summer, instead of dreading it, when the thought of shorts and bathing suits enter my mind !

I'll check in again later !

Off to IKEA with a friend to get some furniture ideas !

Good Morning All !

I re-started and have lost 7 pounds already ! I know that I WILL NOT find it again !! Yay me !

The water has helped and just really being busy has made me stay on the straight and narrow, amongst other things....

It is great to see you all here and I want to offer support to you too !

My daughter told me that my avatar isn't " very nice looking" and I told her that when I get a better picture (thinner that is) then I will put a new one up !

Love that support from the kids, right???

Well off to get ready to do laundry and get going for the day...

What a great day it WILL BE !!

CIAO !

Hey girlie.... How are you? Congrats on restarting. I plan on restarting I just have to find out when is best for me. With the job search going I have to go out to dinner. I have a couple of suppliers that want me. So that is a good thing.

Hi all,
Thanks Suzie and Katie for stopping by...I decided that this time around on medifast, that I would really be conscious about the challenges of staying on plan. For example, I learned today that you "should not go shopping at COSTO when you are overdue for a MF meal !

Guess what I did? I was in COSTO and had about 7 things in my cart...For those of you that don't know what COSTO is, it is a huge food wholesaler, where you can buy food in bulk for a lower price...BUT on Saturdays, they have about 8 food stations of people handing out samples of food, so you'll buy a certain product ! I looked at my daughter, and said we need to go...I picked up my purse out of the cart and left the store. I realized at that very moment that I needed to leave, because the temptation was too great...My MF shakes were in the car and cold... Yes, I should have brought my shake into the store...Now I know !

So I'm sure there will be many more moments that will test "my will" but I really have dedicated myself to getting healthy and not looking back...

I hope all of you will have a great weekend and if any of you want to share some of your struggles and HOW you managed to get around them successfully, please share them with me !

Peace and happiness will prevail for all of us...Just think ...a new President has already set us up for success !! :)

To some of you, it may have been a "no brainer" to bring the shake with you...I have to learn step by step, what to do if i am going to continue to be successful on this journey..

Your doing great, 7 pounds is awesome!
I think I would have a hard time at Costco if I didn't eat and was hungry. Good for you on leaving and knowing what you can and can't handle.

You know, we all probably should know better but these things happen. I just got back from a birthday party and I forgot to take my bar because - get this - I left at 3:30 and said to myself 'I don't have to eat till 4 so I don't need a bar.' TOTALLY forgetting that I would be GONE at 4! So I went and fed my daughter cake and ice cream and did not even lick the fork, but I'll tell you, it took will. Came right home and I'm downing a couple of glasses of water, then I'll make my L&G for the day. So my point is, you did great at Costco and you are one step ahead of me by having shakes in the car.

It's Tuesday and we are expecting to get a big snow storm tonight into tomorrow...Isn' it funny how once you're on MF that you realize how much food was a part of your life... Still down 7 lbs...TOM is here and the scale isn't moving ...YET...

Old thinking:
When I knew that a storm was coming and we'd be in the house for a few days, I'd immediately think of food. Not just milk, cereal or bread, BUT COOKIES< ICE-CREAM, and GOODIES !!
Like most people you'd want to make sure that you had enough food to get by...

New Thinking:
I realize that a storm is coming, and THINK FIRST, if I really need anything or can make do with what we have already in the house...Now I am thinking about what I can do while the storm hits us in a healthy way (excercise tape, sit ups, stretching) instead of eating junk food and taking lots of naps from the sugar overload !!

Wow..Medifast helps to promote clarity !!!!
