Hey I know a thing or two about ebay. My girlfriend lost her job all of a sudden, she started by posting EVERYTHING extra in her house, romance novels, anything. She then went on to drop ship..I highly reccommend the sell anything extra thing, one you get organized and it's said the average person has 2000 dollars of stuff just collecting dust. She had 1800, and the stupid romance novels all told brough 150.

Oh yeah the MF thing...just concern your self with today and today only, when you feel like giving up, just do it one more day, tell yourself one more day...that will get ya through. Kinda like Hanks in Castaway as a matter of fact. YOU CAN DO THIS!

Hey lady! I read that you took a day off work just to completely start again. What a good idea. I have to remind myself that it's important to take time for myself.

I know you can do it lady. Keep shakin

Hi all,

Thanks Katie for checking in on me !

I am still alive and have a very new lease on life...First and foremeost, I have just ordered 2 weeks worth of food and started my shakes again...today...My DH started work on Monday !!! Yahoo !!!!! I am starting to crawl (and quickly I might add) out from under this winter shell and will now be shedding some major weight...

I have a new appreciation for all of you maintainers out there... :)

I just spoke with 3 friends from work who come from different walks of life and have had differrent struggles with weight... One had gastric by-pass and is struggling with maintaining, another friend gains and loses weight like a yo-yo (sounds like me) and another friend is a jogger/golfer and athletic type....

What do we all have in common???? MAINTENANCE !!! We all have a struggle with maintaining the weight we lose !

I am at my highest weight and decided ENOUGH WAS ENOUGH !!!

I have several side effects (nothing too serious) that I didn't have before and decided that I finally hit my "rock bottom" and it was time to get with the program !

I am pleased to say that my husbands re-employment has been a huge relief of stress for me...I am still handling all bills, and mortgage, groceries, etc. but at least a pay day for him is near !

I have realized that I felt locked into this horrible stress bubble and couldn't find my way out...UNTIL, my DH told me he had been hired at a new job...

Since then, he is happier, our home is happier (not perfect) and I finally feel like its my time- to take care of me again...I think I needed permission from myself -to say "It's okay now to focus on me"...Sound crazy? Probably !

Anyway, I have a long road ahead but will be glad to travel it along with all of you !

By the way...I sold my e-bay deal for pennies ! I didn't realize I could hit a reserve button !!! oh well...better luck next time !

Ciao !

Pam :)

Good Evening...
Seems like the boards are quiet these days...I am plugging along with my shakes and have been able to get three days in...Hopefully ketosis will be starting soon...Work has been hectic but it will all be over fo the summer in 35 days...I will enjoy the summer vacation and hope to get some excercise in...every summer I get depressed because I am overweight and HOT...Don't like sweating and running inside to be sitting in ac all day... Hopefully as long as I stay the course I will have a better summer...How could I not? losing weight makes me feel so much better...

My DH had his first full week at work last week...This week he has crazy hours, as he is in training all day for 8-12 hours... I will be grateful and feel relieved that he is employed after being unemployed for over a year.

Have a pleasant evening all... be strong !

Hi there! :D I know what you mean about being fat, hot and sweaty in the summer. This is the first year I am actually somewhat excited about swimsuit season if for no other reason than I am going to feel better about myself than in years before...even though I still have a long way to go. Congratulations on jumping back on the band wagon and congratulations on your husband's new job, too. I imagine that must have put so very much stress on you and we all know the wonderful things stress does for weight loss! :? The boards are quiet but I'm trying to stay active to encourage others to come back out of the shadows so I'm usually around. :)
