Thanks to all of you who have stopped by...So far so good today as far as my shakes go...I like what OTWO said about the shakes being the ONLY thing you can control, when everything else is out of whack...It makes a lot of sense...

Being real and honest here is so important in recovery...Food is such a crutch for ME and I fully acknowledge that I am addicted to food.

Fortunately, I have a busy job and work in my office most of the day with kids, so I can pull out a shake from the fridge and keep it real...

My attitudes of gratitude for the day:

1) All of YOU !
2) Good Job
3) Beautiful daughter
4) Nice family
5) Good friends
6) Higher Power
7) Warm Home
8) Respect from co-workers
9) Unconditional love
10) MF Shakes !

It sounds like you are back on track! Good for you - - just remember one shake at a time. The shakes, in the long run, will make you feel better than the other foods. I love my guilt free Medimeals - - but I am a bit of a control freak (GASP!!) and so I must admit that more than the shakes and the weight loss combined - I LIKE THE CONTROL it gives me!! Everytime I choose to have a Medimeal I have won - - it's like celebrating little victories 6 times a day!

Keep on, Keepin' on!

Thanks OWTO and Diana...

Diana- I have to lose the same amount of weight that you do...I admire how far you have come...

OWTO- I like the shakes the best...So I only order those...Do you do 5-1 or 6-0??? I had done 6-0 through a doctor's care a long time ago and it is hard ! I had no food for 6 months...It's amazing what your mind can do once you have programmed it !

Today is good so far, and I have my water bottles with me !

Good Morning...It is a very icy and wet day here in Connecticut...No work for me as my school is closed ! I am thrilled as I need the day to focus ! My daughter has a delayed opening and then I asked my DH if he wanted to go and see the movie"Fools Gold", which starts Matthew Mcaugnehey and Kate Hudson. Now... I have thought about the "movie" issue and if I would feel threatened by the food there. I decided I could handle going if I brought my pickles with me and a shake...

I have become stronger in the last day or so...Don't know why or how, but my mental strength is reappearing...Perhaps it is coming from all of you and your prayers !

Thank you !

Thanks to all of you who keep stopping by to lend some support...It means a great deal to know that you all haven't given up on me yet...

Pam, I hope you have a great day and enjoy the movie. It sounds like you have a plan for being able to stick to plan while there --- good for you for planning ahead. I need to go back to doing that myself. Thank you for your happy and positive presence here.

Hey Pam
Hope you have a great day at the movies, please tell me how the movie is. matthew mcconaughey is smoking.

One thing that I bring to the movies is a lot of gum. I usually bring a peppermint or a cinnamon gum. It usually last for a long time.

Have a great day

Thanks Ladies !
Yes, viewing a little of Matt M is certainly staying "on program"...doesn't cost you one carb to watch him in motion !

Yea - and you could get your heart pumping and burn some calories too. I want to see that movie and "Definately Maybe" they both sound like good ones. I always sneak in "safe" snacks into the movies - though I am never tempted by the snack bar since they are so outrageously priced.

You are sure getting prayers from my way, but don't count yourself short here - you need to give credit where it is due and you are making changes that are certainly helping you too.
