Oh gosh, we're practically twinkie twins! I am also a recovering bulimarexic and self-injurer with polysubstance addictive issues! I won't begin to list my mood disorders. The diagnoses grow by the year, as do the meds. The disorders, if they haven't already, will become clearer and clearer as I continue to post!

Hey Karli

I am so glad that you resisted the temptations these las few days. Do you realize how stong you are? I sit here and see your success and cant wait to be where you are right now.I would like to adopt your mantra..."no food is worth it". I 100% agree.
I have every confidence that your weigh in will be a good one..so dont stress it. Like you said if anything does happen youll just retrace a few steps.
I hope the baggin idea is working well for you. Hope to hear back from you soon...

I avoided anorexia probably because I lack steely self control. While the disease and its effects are horrible, the terrifying will exerted on that path is... impressive.

For me, it wasn't normal growing up without a big ol' glob of dysfunction :lol:

Normal families must be so dull (kidding!) I mean, a holiday without someone sobbing in the bathroom? Snooze! :twisted:

I am glad to report though that I had a very dull Christmas in that regard. I could really get used to it... :hmmm:

I remember abnormal psych, I'm reading a chapter going "that's my Mom," Another chapter "that's my brother", etc...if it wasn't for dysfunction, my family would have no function at all!

You guys are such lightweights. I didn't need a psych course. I can diagnose anyone at 20 paces. I have been hospitalized over 25 times. They only had to put me in a straightjacket twice! :-P

I may have to have my 26th hospitalization, this one due to Karli-withdrawal. They'll have to put me on a special ward with other Medifasters. The symptoms are somewhat like Prozac spasms. :tongue:

Hello, you wonderful people

. Thanks so much for all of your words and thoughts of encouragement toward me while I was away. I see there has been some fun that I missed :mrgreen:

Well, let's just say that I am *SO* happy to be back home and to have the holidays passed. I was definitely not perfect each and every day over the last couple of weeks and have had some struggles, but today was actually perfect and I am just completely uninterested in looking backwards right now. Maybe sometime I will write things out about the last couple of weeks, maybe not. Either way, I am looking straight foward.

I am not sure when I will step on the scale again, maybe not even next Roll Call, but, like DeDe, I guess I will when I feel like it. In the meantime, I am just going to concentrate on getting myself back on track and getting my house prepared for the week. I am going to post in and catch up on you other forumers during my breaks between practicing and house-cleaning sessions.

I was in the hospital with a lady who had tardive dyskenisia so badly she had to get botox injections in her neck!
