Yep, that initial whoosh on the scale is SUCH motivation, isn't it? Probably good to get that going into the weekend, since that can be a tough time.

I'm glad to hear you're doing better already, too. That feeling of control is great, isn't it?

Chub Rock?? LOL

Before "muffin tops" was coined,
I used to always say that someone
with that particular issue looked like
(to be spoken with a country twang):
10 lbs. of groceries in a 5lb. sack!
:roflmao:
I know, I know -- not very kind,
but visually accurate, isn't it?

Today is Day #4 and I didn't do all that well. I think with the heat here and not being able to go outside much has not helped. I plan on being 100% as of NOW. I did peak at the scale and it showed a 3 pound loss! YiPPiE! Also I wanted to share a recent pic of me from last weekend. My Dh and I celebrated 11 years of marriage! I hope that I emailed it correctly to Unca.

Well have a great Monday everyone! Thanks again for the support.

Today is Day #5 and I'm feeling great! I have been OP all day with no slip ups like yesterday. I'm just getting ready to go to kickboxing at the gym. That is one of my favorite classes to go to. It is my first day at the gym in about 5 weeks. I've just been bad with the heat. I'm ready to get back in the swing of things.
6:45 Shake
9:00 Shake
12:30 Oatmeal
4:30 Shake

I will eat L&G and then a sugae free popsicle.
I got all my water in already. I know I will have more tonight at kickboxing! :exercise:

Today is the start of Day #6 and I got on the scale.......I probably shouldn't have. I was only down 4 pounds. I hope that maybe tomorrow I will see the scale drop a bunch. I went to kickboxing last night for the first time in probably 5 weeks. It was great and it pumped me up. I will stay OP and hope for a big loss tomorrow at my WEEK #1 weigh in.

6:00 Shake
9:00 Shake
11:30 Oatmeal
2:30 Shake
5:30 Chicken & Broc.

Hiya Jeni!

Your picture is beautiful! Congrats on getting through the rough first days. Hey, when you posted your meals for days 5 and 6, I noticed that you only listed 4 meals and an L&G (the sf popsicle is a snack not a meal). Unless you're on a special plan, you should be having one more MF meal. You're likely not getting enough calories and nutrients and your body is holding onto some of its stores 'cuz it thinks it needs them. Not to mention the expenditure of energy that kickboxing takes!

Okay so today is Day 1 again! I have tried to start about 3 times since April. I had a good day minus the headache.

8:00 Bar
11:15 Oatmeal
2:45 Shake
6:00 Chicken and broccoli
9:00 ?? (shake) ??

I did manage to get in 120 Ounces of water. Everytime I had the chance I was drinking water.

I didn't get all my supplements in today. I think I need to start right when I get up. I don't feel hungry, but I'm tired.

Hi Jeni,

I'm new to this site, but have a similar MF history to yours. I started back in April and was on plan for about 3 months and then fell hard off the wagon. I tried to get back on a few times, but it never worked. I recommitted on 11/13, and have been doing great so far. I'm now about a pound less than I was back in July, and am SO CLOSE to the 30# club...finally! :kool: I have been trying to get some exercise, but have not been able to stick with a plan...this is my toughest challenge! :treadjog:

Anyway - hang in there...day 1 is the toughest - as you know!! I'm here with everyone else to give you any support you need! I know I'll need some myself in the weeks to come!

Your picture is beautiful by the way...I have that same shirt! :D
