Just wanting to introduce myself. Day 1.

Postby Marcelle » August 8th, 2005, 8:04 am

Good morning all!

This is Day 1 for me and my first time doing MF. Since January, I've lost 20 or 25 lbs on my own with diet and exercise, but have been stuck in the 180 for a while. (I've been here off and on for a couple of yrs and I think my body is comfortable here, but I'm not!)

So, I'm going to use MF as my tool to break through this plateau and hit my goal. I am 187 right now and would like to get to 135.

I was reading your posts last week and am so impressed with the support you offer each other. This will be a great adventure!

Good luck to us all! :-P
Marcelle

08/07/05 = 187 and 5'7"
08/14/05 = 176.5
08/21/2005 = 175
Mini Goal is to break 175lbs.
Next Goal is to break 165 lbs.
Final Goal is 130 - 135 lbs.

Welcome Marcelle,
So happy to have you on board. Medifast is so easy and very nutricious. I have to tell you that since starting Medifast I have had more energy and felt better than I have in a very long time. I noticed a profound difference in the way I felt on my fourth day. Days one, two and three are the toughest but you get through them. The support here is what has gotten me through the rough spots so you should log on often especially when you need a little push to keep you going. Hope to see you often. Blessings, Carol

Dear Marcelle ~

Welcome to you! We know that you will soon be on your way to weight loss success and improved health. By Friday you will feel better and already be down a few pounds - how cool is that?

Drink that water! (Get on some comfy shoes and make sure the pathway to the BR is clear because if you are doin' everything correctly, you'll be doin' the dash to the sandbox a lot! Drinking a half gallon of water for most people is something new!)

Have yourself a shakin' day!

Thanks Nancy for the encouragment! I've always been a big water drinker, so that's the easy part for me.

So far so good. Still here and on target! :thumbig:

Well my starter pack was here when I got home YEAH! It saved me.

My weakest spot is late afternoon and I eat a lot then, but not today. My box came and I tried out one of the snack bars and it got rid of the shakes and it tasted good too - go figure!

Now I'm going to go unpack the rest of my box and set up my kitchen.

Thanks Angelina and Nancy for welcoming me. I'm trying to change my behavior patterns at night when I eat most, so I may come back on-line later...see you soon.
