with your weight loss results and will forget about the angst of the first few days.
I am so impressed with you - you have been reading, thinking about why you want to lose weight and getting prepared. Those things show that you are ready to make permanent changes to your daily eating style. It can be a bit rough when a person goes on a vacation to stick to the plan but when we keep our goal ever before us, it makes it a lot easier to chose the healthy way and to pass on by the flabbyway.
Personally, my choice would be to go on the vacation - enjoy your time away from home, relax, read the Quick Start Booklet, pre-plan your meal times for when you begin the program, etc. and enjoy yourself. Start when you get back home. You've been looking forward to this time away and you can have some vacation foods. just restrain yourself from inhaling the entire buffet table! When you return, you will be ready to lose!
Journaling is an excellent tool - we do not get a journal with our initial order - the company does have them. They are called "My Daily Journal." You find them in Program Materials and are available for $2.95.
