JUST ORDERED! Hoodia ??

Postby MARIE » June 27th, 2006, 2:48 pm

 Hello all! I can't believe I finally ordered-I have been checking in on this site ever since I ran across it a few months ago and am excited and SCARED to take the plunge!! Oh well, I just charged the order so the money is spent and here we go. I know that this forum and you wonderful folks are going to make all the difference--thanks in advance for your help because I will need it. :D I have FAR to go. One question-has anyone out there ever tried Hoodia? With or without Medifast? What were your results?

Thanks-Onward and hopefully downward (in pounds!)

It is my understanding that No other "diets" should be used in conjuction with MF.

Plus I thought Hoodia wasnt approved? But I dont take those types of things so I wouldnt know.

I am sure others will chime in as to the why lol

I tried it before Medifast. Didn't seem to affect me at all.

Hi there Marie,
The word from here is save your money for Medifast goodies. :D That's the way you are going to part with the pounds. It is a tried and true method. Other things come and go :? ....it seem we are all looking for some miracle pill or potion...but sorry they just don't work. If they did we'd allllll be using them. One thing for certain Medifast works...that's why we are all here.

This is funny cause some people from work and I were talking about Hoodia just this morning. I thought it wasn't FDA approved.
I know I have tried many "wonder" pills to loose weight, always gained it back, this time no pill and I truley believe I am changing my eating habits and my life. No drug can give me that.
Plus with a appetite supressent...you might not eat ALL the MF meals and yo uneed to eat them all to get the best of MF.

The FDA is usually years behind other countries in approving supplements like this. It's still legal to sell/buy it in the U.S., though.

I know people who swear by it, but it never worked for me. And on Medifast, I haven't needed anything to control my appetite. I feel like I'm constantly eating.

Hoodia is sold at Wal*Mart...along with about a thousand other diet pills. Waste of money if you ask me. MF works just fine.

Most of the so-called hoodia being sold isn't even hoodia. There is no commercial source for the raw product from what I understand. And the stuff being promoted, a lot was tested and found to contain little or no hoodia anyway. Just because it says it on the bottle doesn't always mean that's what's inside. These companies aren't regulated so it's buyer beware. I wouldn't waste my money.
