That was my first Medifast meal, Peach Oatmeal, and I liked it! The oatmeal is my favorite MF food. :)

What did you think of it?

Remember you can doctor up your oatmeal or soups or shakes to make them taste better. I make my oatmeal into yummy muffins and put Waldens Sugar, Fat, Calorie, & Carb free Fruit spreads on top. They are so good that way.

I love the vanilla shakes with DaVinci Banana & Straweberry Sugar free syrups and 4 ice cubes blended. So good too.

to make them into muffins I just follow the same directions as making oatmeal, right? Also what do you bake them on?

There is a recipe for muffins on the Peach Oatmeal box, or also in the Lean Cuisine section of the forum here.

Good idea! I keep seeing the fruit spreads at the store and I really want to try them, but I haven't been able to think of a good use. I think I'll order some oatmeal next time to try this out.

I'll bet the chocolate spread would be really good on them as well.

They have a website where you can order online (waldenfarms dot com). I called them to find a local store that carries their products. They gave me the name of about 3 different grocery stores in my area, but only one actually had their products (Food Lion).

I really want to try the apple butter.

CB you can do it, only 1 more day to get through and no more hunger! If you really need to have a snack or a cup of bullion to help you through.

You're on your way

Hi CB
Remember the first 3 days or so are the hardest. That's why you want to stay really really compliant ---so you won't have to repeat them. :x It takes that long for your body to get used to the program. Your tastes in food will change. Americans seem to like three things: salt, fat and sugar. Hmmmm that's how most of us ended up here :D We are cutting way down on your sugars, salts and fats. Sooooo your taster may think it's a little strange for awhile. But, soon, many many things will taste great. You'll be surprised. And, remember those old foods you thought were soooo wonderful probably wouldn't taste that great at all. You are making positive changes :D

okay day 3 and I did decide to weigh in. I lost 4 1/2lbs. (of water weight) but I still feel like it was something.
Today I have been very edgy and like I have took phentermine a little weird.
I am not a coffee drinker but I need something for a little snack and I just made me some black coffee with 2 sweet n lows in it.
Please tell me i did not mess up.
