Just Checking

Postby Kido » February 13th, 2006, 5:58 pm

To see if I got this right.

Today I had:

7:00 a.m. Banana Shake
10:00 a.m. Strawbery Shake
1:00 p.m. Banana Shake
5:00 p.m. Carmel Nut Bar
8:00 p.m. 2 cups salad, 7 ozs chicken with less than 1/4 tsp of soy sauce
2 cups of beef bouillon

Is my lean and green with the bouillon legal?

BTW I love this forum. I have searched things on and off during my breaks. So informative. I don't think I would be as comfortable without this forum.

Hey, Kido :D

So far I think it looks pretty good....although I am far from an expert here. I believe that the bouillon is fine although I know most people use it as a snack or with their soups to add flavor. I know the Lean and Green is designed to be a precise balance of carbs and protein so I am sure that one of the more experienced members, or one of the Health Advisors will jump in if that isn't acceptable.

I think if you make sure you get another supplement in before bed (I'm only counting 4 so far) and have gotten all your water, then everything is looking good!

Also, just a tip...I noticed that you went four hours one time without any food. Now in week 5 I can do that once in a while without it bothering me, but during the first week that extra hour would have made me very tired and probably triggered a headache. You might want to try and avoid that if possible for the next several days...but again I'm no expert, I just know that the spacing of my supplements was critical to my early success. :D

Hope all this helps!

Thanks for the reply.

I spaced it out that way today because I knew I wouldn't be able to eat until 8:00. My daughter plays volleyball so there will be nights like this.

Edit: Plus I had to come home and make dinner. I surely didn't want even a chance that I couldn't eat my lean and green when I was cooking. No temptations.!!!!!!

I am going to use the pudding at 10:00 for my dessert. I usually don't retire until 11:00 anway.

Kido

You are really doing great!! just keep going like you are and you will be at goal in no time! I think you may get chastised a bit about the 4 hours between meals but we all have situations come up and sometimes it just can not be helped.

You are doing great

Four hours is OK if you feel OK. Supposed to be no more than four hours apart. They do realize we can't all just stop what we're doing every three hours to eat.

Is it just me, or are you only having 4 MF meals with your 1 lean and green....

No one else mentioned that you only had 4 meals so maybe I read it wrong.
It gets easier!

Number of meals

Postby Jan » February 13th, 2006, 9:38 pm

Hi There
I counted up the meals too and saw only four replacements. :? But then I noticed that there was a pudding at 10:00 :D so there it is -- number 5. We are all getting soooo smart and know we have to have five meal replacements. :D Try hard not to go beyond 4 hours between meals. The main problem it causes is foody experiences later!! Can you tell I've learned this the hard way?? We all learn as we go. :D

The pudding was the way to go for me. 10:00 p.m. is really is a little late for me to be eating, but I felt like I got my dessert snack before bed.

Today has been going really great. Not hungry at all. Of course I haven't hit lunch time yet.

How are all the other newbies doing today?

Kido

One of the great things with this program is that it does not matter how late you eat!!!!
