Hi. I'm looking for advice. A couple of years ago I went through some really stressful stuff. Anyway, my doctor put me on Paxil. That caused me to gain almost 60 pounds. Now I'm off the meds and I need to lose the pounds. I'm counting alories and doing karate two to three times aweeks for two hours aa time. Any ideas on how to jumpstart the weightloss? I'm desparate. Thanks.

Wow, did you forever stumble into the right place! One word: MEDIFAST.

Fasting is the quickest way to get those pounds off. Comparatively speaking, 60 lbs is just a drop in the bucket. You would do it in no time! Get your doctor's thumbs-up (I hope you changed doctors!) and join us!

I also gained weight after the 'good doctor' thought I needed to be put on antidepressants years ago, only my weight gain soared to 142 lbs before I threw the pills out. Don't EVEN get me started on why I think this nation is filled with overweight people aside from fastfood and TV. Everyone I know is on some type of antidepressant and they are ALL overweight! We are paying these 'good doctors' huge money to keep us in such pathetic health.

The very best of luck to you in your search. Let us know what you decide to do. Hopefully, you'll join us on the forum. It's a wonderful place to 'hang around' for excellent support and encouragement.
