I have been encouraged to post a photo of the "newer" me. My daughter took this one on Mother's Day! Lost a few more pounds and about 10 inches of hair! I'm feeling lighter all the way around!
I'm still a work in progress...So, on to more shakin and less of me!

It is really neat to see how a person’s mental outook, their clothing style and hairstyle changes, too.

Love that gorgeous red hair, Joan! It must be quite an adjustment when you look in the mirror - you had a lot of length cut from your hair. You look very beautiful.

Dean - my husband wears trendier clothing now and he actually allows me to smear some gel in his hair once in a while – he is not such a fuddy duddy any more. We look forward to seeing your pictures, too.

Losing weight is so much more than how we look on the outside – amazing things happen to the inner person, too. We can only view the exterior.

I feel ALMOST famous! I appreciate all the kind words it is very encouraging. Losing more than half of yourself is quite an experience! I sure do appreciate being in better health and looking a bit better isn't bad either! The forum and the support here have been great. And of course...it probably goes without saying but....NANCY the queen of skinny, the princess of the program, the mentor of the masses! Is more than inspirational.... she has a special gift to encourage us all to a better lifestyle and good health! YIPPEEEEEEE I AM LIKING IT! Thanks everybody and Thank You Thank You Nancy!

I am floored (right next to the computer). I too had to call my DH to have a peek at your before and after pix. He just stared at your pictures, then looked at me, and back at your pictures again. He was speechless - except for "that can't be the same woman". He just can't invision me way different than I've looked for the last 25 years. To tell the truth, I have a hard time believing it myself. But you, my dear, are living, breathing truth in a blue dress. Wowser!!!!
