Hi everybody,
It's certainly Monday isn't it?
TOM for me, tummy ache, etc. I'm still doing fine with my meal plan, trying to get my water consumption back where it needs to be.
Hubby called and he's cooking our dinner tonight. Should be interesting!
I've been thinking a great deal about my grandparents that are gone now. People have been telling me how much I remind them of my Grandmother. That's the best compliment anyone could possibly give me. It's also very true. I look like her, I'm built like her, I talk like her, and we shared many of the same opinions. Here's the clencher, my Grandmother passed two years ago on Christmas Day. Her primary medical complaint was diabetes. Her heart was weak, her gout rampaged her feet. She died in misery. Her husband, my grandfather that passed last week, had colon cancer twice, 3 heart attacks, and finally passed away in his sleep of heart failure.
Taking a look on my mom's side, we find arthritis, heart disease, and diabetes.
It's time for me to break the chain of preventable disease. I know we can't keep our selves from getting sick or developing disease, but I can lower my risk factors.
