Yeah, usually the food's no different (except it's usually really good). They also generally have food before the reception (like finger-food type stuff, but a major spread) and then the reception food. Although if it was sit-down they would have asked you to pick an entree ahead of time, so who knows? There's no set food at Jewish weddings, just like any other weddings.
I'd just see what they have and make the best choices you can.
