Ok I am holding myself accountable even before I do anything here ~~

Today is my first *Holiday* since starting MF where I have a lunch and a dinner to go to.

My Mom is taking me and my twin to lunch to Applebee's. I am thinking I will have a shake beforehand and then just drink water. DH is taking me out for dinner tonight and I really want some Lobster--so I dont want to have an actaul Lunch.

That is my pre-thoughts anyway. I know I wont have any type of dessert so that is a good thing. I know my Sis wont mind that I dont eat much.
Wish me luck and I will check in this afternoon!

Good luck!

I didnt know you were a twin. I can totally relate to wanting school to start again. I love the fall temperatures but I also love the routine. I am one who does so much better with a plan.

I hope your lunch and dinner go well. The lobster sounds great!!

I didn't know that, either. I always wanted a twin.

If you DO cave at Applebee's, try to just have another small lean and green. There's no need to go crazy, right? (And either way, think how much it'll annoy your mom to see you sticking to your guns and staying on the program!! Don't give her the satisfaction.)

Ok well.....first off yea I am a twin..and take it from me--It isn't all its cracked up to be.
We are total opposites and despised each other in middle and high school..in all honesty we didnt become friends till about 8 years ago. Kinda sad that we are 33 today and we missed alot of years,,but we are making up for it now! She is awesome and I couldnt ask for a better Twin!

We went to the chinese place..I ordered beef with broccili and only had a small portion of it. No Rice!!

I went to the mall and got come killer new sandals and some CD's as a gift to myself LOL
Tonight Craig is taking me to dinner so we will see if he actually got me a gift this year or if it is money and I get to shop again :D

From what I read I am assuming you have 2 other sisters that are twins as well? Interesting family.

I'm glad you and your twin are friends now and are making up for lost time. It is great that she is supporting you.

I hope that as my twins get older they get closer.

I like keeping track of your progress because we started about the same time and have lost about the same. I wish however I started 20# lighter as you did.

Our twins are boy and girl so it is easier I think to allow them to be individuals. I used to coordinate them when I dressed them but now I dont even attempt it. I also never refer to them as "the twins" my husbands mother ALWAYS does and it bugs me. She will do it out in public just for attention. She treats them like circus freaks. We do have a habit still (they are almost 6) of calling them "the babies" We used to call them that when talking to our older son and now he still does sometimes, its weird. He is only 16 months older. Just this morning he crawled in my bed and said "the babies are still asleep"

How did you guys end up moving and being debt free? You want my debt? SOrry if I'm being nosey.

Jenn we can be buddies *smiles*

Ahh it will be easier with them being one of each! I have 2 sets of twin friends who are 1/1 and they get along Great and always have!! As for the "Circus" I know all about that. We were always stared at and asked all sorts of questions..it drove us nuts. I was actually glad when we stopped looking alike. LOL @ Babies--My little sisters are almost 21 and I still call them My Babies haha I dont think they will ever outgrow that!

We were lucky when we 1st got married and had some land given to us for a house..fast forward 9 yrs and the growth @ there skyrocketed so we were able to sell our house and land with a hefty profit. We already had land we had purchased in the Mtns so DH quit his job and spent 5 months buidling our new house himself. I took all my import contacts and started a new company when we moved in!

Your not nosey we have ppl ask all the time lol

Thats fantastic, you are very lucky. I always tell Dh we will be debt free when we grow up. Unfortunately I dont think I can fool him much longer on how old we really are

We were at a baseball game a week ago and a woman behind us asked "are they twins" and my son (the twin) turned around and said "how did you know" They dont even think about it. They are b/g, they dont look much alike, she is much taller, he is heavier.... To them they were in my tummy at the same time and have the same birthday thats about it. If you look at my journal there is a picture of them on the first page.

Too sweet Jenn!!

Well my darlings are back in school and I for one am glad to be back on a regular schedule!

There wont be any days of not getting all my 5 in now since I get up way early lol

There have been a few weeks when I had more than 2 days of not getting all of them in--well no more! I am hoping this will help my little stalls I have been having here and there!

I just read your comment about DH  I showed him and I think he is embarrassed. I tell him all the time he is Hot and he thinks I'm nuts. He actually went from 216 to 180ish in the last couple months. Much easier for him, all he did was start running again and lower his portions....wish that were me!

Oh man I totally thank God that my kids take after their father...looks and body. I just measured my daughter for her school uniform and from neck to waist and waist to knee she wears a size 7 and then chest and waist she measures less then a size 4!! I have vowed to do everything in my power to keep them from going thru what I went thru growing up!

I didnt have my weight issues until I hit my 20's so my biggest thing especially with my daughter is making sure she has great self-esteem. I feel bad because she sees me dieting and working out..then she makes comments like "Do you think I need to diet too?" In no way does she need that so I am attempting to show her that this is something Mommy is going through and as long as she eats healthy and stays active them she will be fine. Thank Heavens She eats VEGGIES!! (unlike me  )

Since Sunday I gained a pound but I have been slack on my water plus
I had an extra soy crisps pack last night. It was the first time I was actually hungry in awhile so it was weird. I was running around town alot yesterday and guess I overdid myself.
I am back on track and hope that everything will resolve itself by weigh-in on Sunday!

I'm sure it will. Fluctuations happen, especially if your water consumption is a little off.

And it's funny. We all tried SO hard with my little cousin to make sure she doesn't have those issues. And she's TINY, so she really shouldn't. But she's developing a bit of a figure and most of her friends are little sticks, and about a year ago (at 11) she started talking about how big her stomach is. Sigh.
