Nah, get a ring guard till you're at goal. No point in resizing the rings now when they're just going to be too big again in a couple of months.

lol I am here Robin!
We just got back from outta town so I am attempting (kinda poorly though) to get caught up!

I did pretty well this weekend. I will weigh-in in the morning but I am thinking I did good so maybe the scale will prove me right haha

We walked and walked and walked and yep you guessed it walked some more. lol

The kids had a blast playing putt-putt and going through a mirror maze. Emma and Daddy rode the Alpine Slide and she cant stop talking about it!
We shopped some and of course ate :?

All in all it was a good weekend!

OH but I found my kids are SPOILED!! We normally stay in a timeshare condo that is awesome and this time it was booked so we stayed at the Holiday Inn Express. The whole weekend the kids kept saying.."This is so small.. I want to go to our regular place." LOL It kept us laughing.

Heh. My little cousin is like that. She's used to luxury hotels because of her grandparents, so when she stays somewhere a little less luxurious, she wants to know why there's no room service or flat-screen TV or whatever. And why isn't it a suite. Sigh.

Glad to hear you're doing well. I figured you were just away for a few days. And I'm sure with all that walking, the weight will be fine. You've got this program down pat!!

Thanks y'all..it is sad that I am sooo excited to "get away" then equally excited to return home!

This is how freaking blonde I am~~I made sure everyone had their tennis shoes packed since I knew we would walk alot..and guess what I wore ALL weekend? Stacked Flip-Flops! Hmm Hellllooooo haha But I will say that my calves feel awesome so it wasnt all bad.. except my tired feet!

The weather up there was awesome..72 for the high and 55 for the low. We walked @ town each night and it was like Fall, which I am more than ready for. We got home today and it was 87 here

We took my In-laws out to Longhorns for Grandparents Day tonight and the first thing outta the kids mouths was "we are not going without y'all anymore. Mom made us stay in this little room and we know that if you go we always have the good rooms!" My MIL just laughed cause she actually tried to get us a room at the regular place but it was out. I dont think my kids will ever stay in a normal hotel room again!

I went to an awesome scrapbook store and spent some $$$$ lol now I need to get busy using the goodies lol
Craig is almost finished with our office (hopefully by weeks end we can move in) amd I am sooo ready!!

ok I have a confession here....

It was sooo good to wakeup and get back in my MF routine this morning.
As I said before I did ok this weekend but I neglected to admit that the one time I ate bad.. I ate realllllllly bad. We went to this bar late one night and I had a cheesesteak with baked mac&cheese for a side  Even though I didnt eat the bread(and not because I have good willpower but because it was funky) as soon as dinner was over I felt awful! Mentally and physically! To make matters worse I was sick for about 3 hours later on in the evening.

Needless to say THAT wont be happening again.
So far today I have had 2 RTD's and 36 oz of water. I was worried that I would want to snack today but I havent been and I am not going to have any snacks at all(MF ones either).

I am such a hypocrite..as I tell someone.."It wont work unless you make it work" then I go and eat the above dinner.. DUh me!

Don't beat yourself up about it. And you're not a hypocrite. Just because you know it only works when you follow the program doesn't mean you're not going to slip occasionally.

Your goal is to lose the weight and keep it off the rest of your life, right? So one tiny step backward after all the progress you've made is NOT a big deal. The important thing is to keep it an isolated incident and just move on from there, just like you'll do when you're in maintenance. Are you never going to eat crap again? No, you just will have some "bad" meal like that, and then move on and go back to eating healthy.

Craig was laughing this cause I was excited about having my blended shake for lunch! I guess that is a Plus!

It is pretty good but I felt myself thinking..well it cant get any worse then it does. It is a super wuick read and I am going to see if I cant find the 2nd one because like a trainwreck I cant wait to see how he does in his 20's!

Should be an interesting movie.

Welp been doing ok the past few days. My water intake is much better than the past few weeks. I admit I had a little Sweet Tea WD after having it this weekend.

Been working alot this week. Craig is working on the office and we hope to stain it the next day or so, which means it will be finished woooohooo and I can move in. I am sick of our desks being at the foot of the bed. I feel like I am typing while I sleep half the time

I am reading "At First Sight" by Nicholas Sparks. It is a pretty good read so far. Plus if I get bored of reading I look at his photo on the bag page and I am fine again. He is the dreamiest Author I think I have ever seen! :D

ok since I vented in my Sistas journal the past few days I figured I might as well use mine today.

I am having some issues right now that are stressing me out majorly. I am not pigging out or anything..its just I am not in the same mindset as I was the past few months.

I am gonna take a few days off, sort some things out then I will start a new on Monday. I know there are some that will think this is the wimpy way out and I need to buck up and just do it. I will not apologize for taking a break to get things settled because to me it is even a bigger stress.. so try to stay onplan then do something to blow it which just results in wasted time and money.

I know I am going to be successful at this but right now my sanity needs is in need of a overhauling.

I am gonna put my journal here on hold for a bit but will begin again when I am back full force, but I aint leaving the board by any means. :) Just my own journal.

Aw, c'mon, Reginia, you can DO this!! How about taking just one day off? Give yourself permission to have whatever you want, but then get right back to it!! Even just one meal. The food is NOT going to help you get your head straight. You need to find other ways to deal with stuff - we ALL do. That's what this whole journey is about, right?

Can you maybe get some other sort of treat this weekend, to reward yourself for your progress, destress a little and get yourself ready to go again? How about a massage or a nice bath or whatever else relaxes you? (Heck, not that I'm in any position to offer marital advice or anything, but what about inviting Craig along to show that the weight loss is making you more interested in HIM and you're not going anywhere?)

Whatever you decide, I'm sure not going to be one of the ones beating you up over it. I just think a major key to long-term success is finding other ways to deal with life's issues. They're always going to be there, and the best thing you can do for yourself is find healthy, constructive ways to cope (and this is dirty pool, but think about the lessons the kids will learn from this, too; you can prepare them so well for life if you teach THEM how to deal with life's ups and downs in healthy and appropriate ways).

Honey I dont know what's going on but talk to me if that helps. I agree with Robin if you take off until Monday it is going to be harder to get back on the program. Dont let what is going on in your life sabotage all the good work you have done.
