ITS NOT WORKING!!!

Interesting thread about the water ... I'm going to try drinking a little LESS for a few days to see if it helps me any. Half my weight (as the number of ounces to drink; obviously no one means to drink half your weight in water!) would be only 66 ounces, and I drink a lot more than that.

It's worth a try, I guess. Thanks, guys.

And more info would be great, Jennmango. Are you putting anything ON your protein, or marinating in anything you shouldn't? Are you being careful about weighing it - and weighing it AFTER it's been cooked? Is it your TOM? Are you having extra salt? Do you feel bloated (with all the heat everywhere, I'm guessing that's a common problem lately)?

Hang in there, I've hit a scale stall many times then *BAM* it drops down. Maybe boycott your scale for a month?

You've received some great advice so far. Give your body some time to adjust and everything will even out.

Actually I am over 200 lbs so my water consumption is correct. I dont want to get dehydrated. No I dont exercise at all. No I dont put anything at all on my meats. and I do weigh it.
I am still baffled.

5 hours between supplements is a biggie - can you adjust your schedule so that it's 3 or 3.5 hours in between? Even with the snack in there, it's too long. We're instructed to go no more than four hours between supplements, and I find that when I go that long I have a hard time getting on top of my hunger for the rest of the day (plus I get a little grouchy). Could you, for instance, push your second supplement back to 10:00, your lunch back to 1:00, and then move your next supplement (the shake you usually have in your car) up to 4:00ish? I think stable blood sugar has a lot to do with the benefits we reap from this program, and a schedule that keeps you eating approximately every 3 hours will do a lot to keep your blood sugar stable.

It's definitely strange. I'd try moving that one meal up so they're closer together and then just give it another week or so. I think we did have one person a few months ago who didn't lose much of anything at first, and then suddenly started losing. I think.

Were you low-carbing or anything before this?
