itchy

Postby Guest » March 5th, 2005, 1:03 pm

Hi Everybody,
I was just reading some old posts. I read one from a woman who had a reaction..rash and itchy. I have also developed this. I have been on medifast for 2 weeks and about 6 days into it I started itching. I was very happy to read this post and the replies, as I had an idea but wasn't sure. I am now on my way to med cabinet for benidryl. Has anyone else had this side effect? VG [url=http://www.TickerFactory.com/]

I haven't had any itchiness, by my complexion has certainly exploded! I guess it is all the estrogen being released in my system. It is worse than it ever was when I was a teenager! I've ordered some Proactiv...hope it helps.

Hi lov2travl --

I have very dry skin to begin with ... now on Medifast it is even more so. Nancy says that while on the product you are slightly dehydrated ... which is why you have to drink tons of water. Even with all the water drinking; my skin is extremely dry now. And I itch a whole lot because of the dryness. I use a heavy duty moisturizer to help this.

I haven't really experienced a rash - but I'm sure the benadryl should help you with that problem.

Let us know how you make out.

UGH! Me too. I get out of the shower and my face is one big splotch. I thought it was a fluke type thing, but I guess not. I'd really like for it to clear up. :(

My skin is really dry as well. I am using lots of moisutizer in the shower and after. Due to the dryness I am getting itchy. But no rash and so far no excess zits! ;)
