They add more carbs to your daily plan than anything else. Second to those things would be oatmeal and pudding, then swiss mocha shakes. Diabetic shakes and fruit drinks are the lowest carb items you can choose from at 10g per supplement. Then iced teas at 12 and 55 shakes at 13 (except swiss mocha). I think chicken noodle soup and possible chicken rice are also 13g carbs.
I have a friend who was horribly anemic but it was due to a huge fibroid in her uterus. She had to have iron shots every week! I'm glad to hear you get to drink some odd medicine instead of get the shots! ugh needles.
Yes, I have one of those unwanted guests too. He needs and eviction notice! He behaved well for years and docs left him alone. Then in 05 he lost his mind and that is what causes my heavy periods. The doc did threaten me with shots.
But now they are beginning to not be too heavy. So I may be able to get better on the supplements.
I am looking for some of the fruit drinks. Do they taste good?? I am afraid I might get hooked on crystal light and like need aspartame rehab. I am afraid of artificial sweetners - what me being a refined sugar addict.
I think I will get diabetic RTDs - mine are too sweet.
