Hello, my name is Angel. I am 21 years old and I've been overweight for as long as I can remember. I'll spare ya the sob stories and move on to present day. I saw an ad for lipo-dissolve on tv and went to their center in st. louis, missouri. There is where I heard about medifast and today was my first day. it's going to be difficult to get used to but i can do it.
Just wanted to introduce myself before I start posting :)

Welcome, Angel! It does take some getting used to, but once you figure everything out, it becomes second nature. And the speedy results definitely help you stay on track in the beginning.

Hi Angel,

I haven't been 21 for some time now, but I do remember that my 20's was a lot of fun. I was very thin and become very heavy in my 20's, but all in all it was a good time - apparently too much of a good time!

This program is great and this forum is extrememly supportive and encouraging. Use it often to help you get to the goal you desire. Make sure you check out the Lean Cuisine section. It's full of great ideas that will help you want to stay on this program.

Welcome to the journey!

I've been 21 for about nine years, now . . . (ha ha ha)

But seriously, folks, welcome to Medifast and the MakeMeThinner forum! You won't ever regret starting this program. Medifast is without a doubt the easiest plan I've ever followed. And this forum is informative and supportive - like having a 24 hour a day weight watchers meeting, right at our finger tips!

We're glad to have you onboard.

thank you everyone for the warm welcome. Everyone seems very supportive. I definately want to stick with this plan. Today was the hardest day though... I've never really been much on sweet foods.. it's the starches I have trouble with. Although, today I had such a craving for some beef of some sort. still having it :( its especially hard when everyone around me is eating steak (i had eaten before everyone else) and i cant have anything..... but i know it will be worth it in the end. thanks again everyone

Hi Angel. Nice to meet you, Im Sheila. I am still relatively new to MF, I have been with it for 6 weeks now and have lost 25 lbs. So I can definately say I know that it works. I also wanted to tell you that I am actually a Missouri girl myself. Right now I live in Hawaii, my hubby is a Marine stationed here. Hawaii is nice, but I do miss home. We were just there over Christmas for 2 weeks, bur it wasnt long enough. However, I am SO excited about returning for my next visit there to see my friends and family....about 50 lbs lighter! It was a little awkward going home for Christmas for the 1st time in 2 years, and having gained about 50+ lbs due to a car accident and other health problems, I was worried about what everyone would think of me. No one said anything, but I was paranoid. Plus, since this is my last summer in Hi, i would love to be able to wear a bathing suit to the beach, and actually enjoy being in hawaii.I know you wii love mf, ans this forum, it is awesome! welcome!
