Hi, Ark ~

Thank you for writing about your day and sharing it with us. I prayed for you yesterday that you would feel comfortable, that your skills would shine forth to those who interviewed you and that you would glean insight into the people with whom you would work. It sounds like your day was good in every way. I am thankful that your stomach tolerated everything so well. I am surprised that the sugars did not make you feel a bit lightheaded or shaky. I really feel a sugar rush, esp on an empty stomach so if I do choose to eat pie or something, I am always sure to have some protein in me first.

How cool to be able to meet the people that you could actually work with so you know something about their personalities. It sounds like your day was profitable. Not to worry about that extra surprise bag of flour that attached itself to your bod. Most likely, your water intake was lower than usual yesterday - stress and lack of sleep are contributors to weight gain/maintaining as well. I have a feeling you’ll be wearing a path in the carpet between your office and the sandbox today! We’re keeping your job selection process in our hearts and minds this week!

Good for you, Ark!! I'm so excited for you about the job(s), and you're right, you can get right back on plan and those 10 pounds of water will drop right off again - and take some friends with them!

Nancy ~ Thanks for the prayers. Now that it's over, I can tell you that everything you prayed for did occur. It was the most relaxing, easygoing interview process that I have ever been through so I hope that's a positive sign. No water, at all and almost no sleep so I'm trying to beat my body back into submission ...

When multiple posts appear, just doink the little 'x' in the upper right box and it will delete the wild and crazy ones!

Don't know why but there have been a number of those twin and triplet posts showing up lately. Weird-oh-lah!

Vicky ~ Now comes the hard part ... waiting. I already have one job offer in Cleveland but I haven't given them an answer yet. Akron called yesterday to set up the final three interviews and reiterated that these were just semantics b/c the job was mine if I want it. It's really nice to feel wanted, I just want Columbus to want me

I don't know why I keep staring at the phone. Like that's gonna make it ring.

Vicky ~ This is truly a HUGE boost to my ego. I have never felt this WANTED before and I'm thrilled. I'm so glad that I committed to MF four months ago b/c I was able to relax and just let my own thoughts and nursing philosophies just spew forth without having to worry about how fat I must look in their tiny chair, etc.

Arkie - haven't been able to follow your journey through the board as I haven't been able to go on a computer since Thursday (had Lasik surgery done to correct a previous attempt). I am thrilled that your interviews went well - I knew they would!!! With all of us praying you HAD to do great!!!!
