bikipatra wrote:Hula you look great, but you always have. Your being beautiful was never an issue. The only thing that bothers me, if that is even the word, is that you don't take that final difficult step of taking full back and side views like the rest of us do. It takes a lot of humility and being vulnerable.

I'm sorry Biki, I didn't know that it was a requirement. I didn't realize that I didn't have humility or vulnerability. If you've known me from the first time I posted on this forum,I have lacked the confidence to post my pics at all. It took me months and months to even post my before picture. I've never felt beautiful and I don't have the guts to keep posting pictures of myself, so this is big for me. This just so happened that that was the picture I took on my 40th birthday, like I said I would post. and it wasn't a full shot.

Like I said before, I'm not sure what my goal weight is going to be at this point right now. And when I make that decision I will certainly post full shots, front, side and back

Anyway, I appreciate the positive comments. It really helps me to to drive forward and keep going!! :yeah:

I didn't mean that you didn't have humility or vulnerability at all. It takes that to open up on this forum without posting pictures. I never understood, how could I, that it took you months so post any picture at all. I just wondered is all.

It's all good Biki. What I admire about you is your beauty and confidence and your perserverance (sp?) to reach your goal. You are a great roll model and I'm learning a lot fom you. Still friends? :stroll:

Thank you Tawanda and Pashta!

Yep. I was born in 1967.

When I was 170+ pounds I looked 40+ years old. The weight really aged me.
I don't know if I look like I'm in my twenties, but with the weight off, I feel like I'm in my twenties. I went through most of my thirties with aches and pains, especially my heels. I could barely walk around without being in a heck of alot of pain. My feet were pleading for relief from all of that weight! So now my feet, and the rest of me feel much better! :yeah:

<--born in 1967 too! You look fantastic. I'm hoping when I lose all the weight I want to lose that I'll look younger too. I hit the big 4-0 in August.
