I'm FINALLY posting my before and during pics. This before pic is actually at 160 pounds. I started MF at 170 pounds on Aug 1. The after pic is 137 pounds taken on Nov. 2.

My 12 year old son told me, my before picture looks like I'm a Grandma. MY 16 your old son said I looked like Fiona from Shrek when she's an ogre. I love my kids!! :|

This last picture was taken on March 14th, on my 40th Birthday. I didn't reach my goal of 120, and I'm not sure it that is still my goal, since I feel great now. I was thinking 125 would be good.

WOW!! :shock: :shock: I am not sure I would put it the way your kids did. LOL But you look like you could not possibly have a 16 year old son unless you had him when you were 10. LOL LOL

You look fantastic!! Major change. Good for you!! WOHOOO!!!!

WOW!!!!! You look amazing Kanani!!!! I too, am amazed at what just 35 pounds can do for someone! You are a huge inspiration -- thank you so much for sharing your pix with us!!!!

Thank you, my MMT Family! You are all too kind.

You know I couldn't have gotten this far without all of you. Each one of you have been such and inspiration to me and will continue to be.

I feel like I've gotten a second chance to be healthy. I didn't share this in my journal but when I was pregnant with my last son, who is now 3, I was diagnosed with gestational diabetes, and had to give myself insulin shots for 4 months. My doctor said it would clear after I gave birth, but I would be succeptable to having type one or type two diabetes within 5 years if I didn't take care of myself. At that point I, couldn't fathom having to give myself shots fot the rest of my life, let alone all of the health problems that go along with the initial diabetes.

So, I am sooo happy about the way I'm shaping up on the outside, but I thank God for MF and MMT for putting me back on the path to a longer healthier life.

You guys are the best!

I don't know about Fiona or a grandma, but you DO look like a completely different person in the second photo!!! You look great!

How beautiful you are and now when you :ukulele: hula, you will mesmerize your audience even more - they will be distracted from your beautiful story-telling hands and be :shades: watching your face and hips!

You are totally gorgeous! :whistle:

Mahalo for sharing your picture and for telling about your gestational diabetes experience. Diabetes is a real wake up call and it amazes me how some people would prefer to eat cake and flirt with shots than to get on our fabulous program and shed their excess weight.

You are an incredible person and we :hug: love you - you have great insight, a heart of :pet: compassion and definitely have the aloha spirit, Kanani!
