Hey HulaLula ~
We are
happy that you will be celebrating your Bestest Friend’s wedding day by her side and we trust that you will be enjoying maintenance.
Those Nine Pounds can be off in no time and you can be through all the steps of transition
if ya stick to the program, Girl!
Those little
lickies of poi, slices of Portuguese
Sweet Bread, Poke
Pupus, hunks of kalua
pig and long
sips of Mai Tais merely slow the process and keep us from enjoying slender
hips and avoiding spaghetti strap, sleeveless arm flappage…
You can do it – TOM is something that comes around well,
monthly…during the thinnin’ process, we need to
focus on ways to deal with the
agitation, internal feelings of
wonkiness, etc. in healthful ways that will carry over into our lives for long-term weight control. We don’t want the men folk to have to spend a week a month in the garage messin’ around trying to
avoid us when the
crankies arrive.
Avoiding processed foods as much as possible, choosing fresh veggies (and once the thinnin’s over and we are on maintenance, a couple of servings of fruit a day), lean protein,
plenty of water and keeping active, the bloating for most seems not as severe as before.
I must qualify my statement here as I have been surgically altered…I no longer have an excuse for being
cranky…but I DO recall the bloatage – heck, before I had a hyster, I looked like I was about 7 months along….`aka `aka
Sending you
leis.
With
fond aloha,
