WOW! That is a miracle! :) I love frosting...

I love frosting too Biki! I think I'm finally using my brain here and realizing that all that binging and stuff, was making me even more miserable and wasn't solving any of my problems. I feel so much better.

The sugar rush after that frosting once you came down would be hellish!

Yeah! Crash and burn!

I'm still on track today and building momentum. I'm actually not spilling out of my clothes so I know I'm lost something. I'll find out on Sunday.

I just came back from the Big Island late last night. We went to celebrate my MIL's 80th birthday. My hubby's family flew in from all over the world as far as New Zealand. It was great! I lived on chocolate pudding for 2 days because I didn't have time for any nuking for oatmeal, etc. Lot's of food involved, especially with my hubby's family! It was a backyard party with barbecue and what seemed like a hundred other dishes. His family doesn't know how to do anything small. OMG.... There was enough food for 200 people, and we only invited 100. All of that food actually made me not want to eat. Way too much food goin' on. The only thing that I was tempted by was the Birthday Cake, of course... only because it was Whipped Cream frosting with a vanilla cake and vanilla pudding in the middle of the layers! I resisted! Can't believe it! The best part was there was a DJ and dancing so I danced all night with my sons and hubby... we had a blast. What a crack up a DJ at an 80year old women's party :coolnana: ... she loved it, and so did everyone else!

Now that there are no birthdays that I know of, at least for a few months, I should be okay. Thanks Biki!

Keeping myself busy. All of my hubby's family are now here at our house for 2 days until they leave to go back to the mainland and New Zealand. I've been on track for a while now so I'm on a roll! :D

Kanani, We'll be at port on morning of the 27th, but we have a little problem. We promised friends of ours that we would spend some time with their son and his wife who were just stationed there and I don't know anything about those arrangements.

Maybe you could PM me your phone number and if it works out that I can call you, I will. I know the whole thing is pretty vague. I'm sorry about that.

I've been fighting off a cold and soar throat. It's going around in my family right now. I think my little one brought it home from school.
It's okay, because I can't taste or smell anything, so food isnt' very appetizing right now. Still sticking to plan!

Thank you Joy, Biki, Tawanda and Katie! I think the worst is over. You know, that come Monday, Mom's sick time expires! Had to get up and do all of the before school breakfast and lunch prep and taxi. It's funny how even with a soar throat, temperature and body aches... Mom's can still continue on with our responsiiblilties.
;)

Not being able to smell or taste anything is really sucky but it helps me to stay on track. I've been enjoying the soups and hot cocoa, they make me feel nice and warm inside.
