Hulagirl,
It sounds like you're doing great. Keep up the good work. You don't have that much more to go until goal!

Thank you KMR and Beachbaby!

I'm just a few pounds away from the half way point to my goal! I can't believe it! I tell you, I know I wouldn't be able to get to this point without MF and the wonderful support of all of you "losers"! I've never gotten such great results in such a short period of time with so little effort. By little effort, I mean exercise.... Yes, it does take will power and sacrifice when it comes to food, but as time goes on, it gets easier. The best part is that when you see results on the scale and in the fit of your clothes, you get motivated to keep going!!!!

I love Medifast! I can't say it enough! :cheermed:

Thanks Ebony! ;)

My hubby is leaving for a week long business trip tonight. It's been a while since he's bee on a long trip for work. One positive thing though, is that I'll be a little thinner when he gets back!

I really want to see the scale this week. 3-4 pounds would be great! I'm going to keep my portions for L&G in check. Sometimes I don't get in enough green. I also need to make sure I get in all of my water. :water:

I gotta start keeping track of my meals on my journal. I just realized this morning that I missed a supplement yesterday! NOT GOOD! :dohdoh:
So I guess I need to start posting at the end of the day with a list of my meals and water for the day....oh boy. :|

I didn't realize I miss my hubby so much! Last night I found myself in front of the TV , after the kids were in bed, really wanting to go the kitchen and find some junk food to munch on. I ended up opening up a soy crisps, my second one of the day. I guess that's better than scarfing down cookies or chips, or a gallon of ice cream! :dohdoh:

Man, I'm a big girl, what's goin' on here? :wallwall: Not like this is the first time my DH has gone on a business trip. He goes at least 3 times a year. I guess I realize that I am still succeptable to emotional eating and I need to be very careful!

I gotta stay focused! Today will be a better day!

I pulled an all nighter last night helping my Son with his English paper. I didn't get any shut eye till 4:30am then woke up at 6:40 to take the kids to school. Then my 3year old boy got up, ready to start his day! I was hoping he would sleep in. Needless to say, I am tired! :snooze: I wish I could just jump in bed and snooze! I'll have to wait till his nap in a couple of hours!

Food Journal so far today:

7:00am - Banana Shake
10:30am- Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal/ 10 oz water
1:00pm - Chocolate Pudding/ 15 oz water
4:00pm - Mint Bar/10 oz water
6:15pm - Chicken & salad(romaine lettuce&tomatoes)/10oz water
9:00pm - soy crisps/ 10oz water
10:30pm - banana shake/15oz/water

Whew.... The food journal is time consuming but it really did help me to keep track of my food and water.
The day is not done yet, gotta go to my sons football game!

I just got home from my #2 son,Christian's, football game. Yes, football coming out of my ears till December! He had to be at the field which is 45min. away at 8:00am. So I packed my MF food and rushed to make hot cocoa. But something didn't seem right about the cocoa! It was clumpy and dark....Duh :laughlaugh: I put a packet of chocolate pudding in my mug. Gross! Lucky thing I had an extra packet in my ziplock! So 3 chocolate puddings this morning!

7:30am - Yucky hot chocolate pudding/replaced :|
10:00am - chocolate pudding
12:30pm -chocolate pudding
35oz water throughout the morning
4:00pm - mint bar
5:30 pm - soy crisps/40 more oz water in movie
7:30pm - Chicken and green salad
10:00pm - banana shake

I'm tired... gonna take a nap, and then take the kids to see Gridiron Gang, the new movie with "The Rock" (swoon, and sigh  ).

I'll post the rest of my food tonight.

Goal: 135# by Halloween with Beachbaby!

Food journal for Sunday Sept 23,

8:00am - vanilla berry oatmeal
10:30 am - banana shake
1:40pm - mint bar
3:30 pm white chedder soy crisps
5:00pm - chicken & greens/tomatoe/onion
8:00pm - shake
10:30pm - chocolate pudding
water - 84 oz throughout the day

This food journal is a bit time consuming and repetative, but it does help!

Still missin' my DH but hanging in there  . We talk at least 3 times a day, so that helps. My oldest boy, Sal, has been a big help by stepping in as man of the house until Hubby gets back.

I was a bit disappointed about the scale not moving this week.... :wallwall: Oh well, my size 8 jeans are starting to get loose, so something's happening! I really want to reach the 30# club by
Oct. 1! So I gotta keep shakin!!!!!! :beerbeer:

Post on my journal

Postby nickieluv » September 24th, 2006, 10:08 pm

Hi -

Thanks for posting. I just read your journal and didn't want to go back to mine to post - too tired! I just wanted to say "thank you" for what you said - it does feel good to know that someone else had similar issues with food (although I've never been bulimic, I've thought about it at times when I was really disgusted with how much I ate, and in college I was borderline anorexic, sometimes not eating at all for two or three days because I didn't want my boyfriend to see me eat because he might think I was a pig - and ever since, just binge eating and eating for emotional comfort) and that MF helped change things for you. I hope it can work for me. I'm scared, to be honest. I hope I have the guts to place that order at the end of this week and really commit to it - and the guts to get into counseling and be honest with someone about all the shameful things I think and feel about myself.

Anyway, thank you - I'm off to bed (finally).
