Kanani, it sounds like you did wonderfully ! Congratulations !! It always helps me when I read about other people making through temptations like you have. Thanks for the inspirations :).

Oh, and, if you want to talk about last minute, I won't be going shopping until *after* xmas and the day before I need the gifts :-P. Anyway, at least it will get done (right ? )

Cheers,

So I didn't reach my goal of 120 for Christmas, but I did reached a size 4 jeans and a junior's small T-shirt! Am I happy? Heck yeah!

The best was, my husband got me a tight fitting top in a junior size small. and one of those peasant skirts that would make me look huge. It was so cute, and I didn't have the heart to tell him that I thought it wouldn't fit me. So I slipped it on in the room and looked at myself in the mirror. I started to tear up, because it not only fit me, but I looked really good in it! I walked out to the living room where my hubby was and his eyes opened really wide. I told him what my thoughts were before trying it on, and he just shook his head and said," I knew you would look beautiful in it, because I pictured you in it before I bought it!" It was the best Christmas I've had in a very long time!

I am re-committing myself to lose the last 12 pounds. I want to reach my scale weight goal! I will do it!

Wow!

What a great story! Sometimes we're looking at ourselves through those colored glasses. Back when I was much bigger, I'd look at myself through the "I'm not that big" glasses. Now I look at myself and I STILL see huge.

I'm glad your hubby looked at YOU and bought something YOU would look GREAT in!

I don't doubt it either but when she has to buy those new "less than zero" sized jeans don't expect me not to be envious!

:roflmao: NOT gonna go there. I saw this lady at the mall, she must have been 90 pounds wearing a size 0 junior jeans, or maybe little girl's size small. Man, that is tooooo dang skinny!

I'm with you Kanani. There is such a thing as too skinny....and it's when you can't find the clothes you want in the size you want. I'm finding plenty of 6's and 8's, but the supply dwindles at size 4.....not too many of those.

Your right about the clothes Jo. 6-8 are the perfect size for selection. There are so many cute styles. Size 4 and below are few and far between. Plus I'm a petite because I'm only 5'2" tall.

I'm back in full force today, getting back into the daily routine since the holidays are officially over. I need to tighten up my lean & green. The portions were much bigger than they should have been. So, here we go! :whip:

Kanani,

If you go to 120, won't you be a size 4? I'm only 5'3" and I wear size 6-8 @130!

Yeah Jo. You're right. I probably will be. I am in a size 4-6 right now. It's really strange, because the last time I weighed 120 (about 16 years ago...) I wore size 4-6. So if my goal is 120, I will be way smaller than that! I may have to rethink this goal. :|

Find out where Nicole Ritchie shops when she goes to Hawaii and you can buy all your clothes there.
