re: sodium...unless you have high BP and your doc has limited your sodium intake, you may use as much as you like to enhance the taste of the soups and for your Lean and Green.
I am not a good resource in terms of how much is too much. I don't use a lot of salt; my husband's and Unca's food is white. They salt ham.
Generally people are used to eating salty foods and liberally add more to the food. Medifast products are low in sodium and you may use additional spices and salt to suit your personal preferences.
I prefer to use Frank's Hot Sauce, Tabasco, Mrs. Dash, garlic, etc.
Nothing tastes as good as thin feels...
