How much are you all losing per week?

Postby Sarina » May 17th, 2006, 4:59 am

Just curious as to how much y'all are losing per week?

I'm on my 2nd week and need some encouragement.

I am averaging 4.1 a week but remember that everyone is different. I will tell you one thing....stick with this and you will lose quicker than you would on any other program out there!

Hi Sarina! :) Today is the beginning of my 2nd week. Sunday morning I weighed myself and I lost 5 pounds. I am on the 5 and 1 for diabetics and I have not cheated, nor do I have any extra snack. Good luck, and don't give up 8) .

Hi Sarina,
I lost a bunch of my weight my first week, but my scale hasn't budged for almost a week now. I'm sure it's just our bodies adjusting and we will start to lose at a normal rate again soon.

Today is my 7th day - and I've lost 7 lbs. I'm not expecting to lose more than 1 or 2 a week on average, tho. I've learned over the years that the scales don't tell the whole story and I try to stay away from them daily. It gets to be too much of a roller coaster ride if I let them determine how I'm going to feel. Some days are better than others, and right now I'm battling vertigo - not sure it's MF related. Still, I know the program works - so don't be discouraged, just keep doing the right things and the weight will come off!
Hang in there!

Everybody loses at a different pace. I usually lose between 1-2 lbs a week. Good for an old lady like me!!! A lot depends on how active a person is, I think. And, every metabolism does its own thing. A pound for me is one less that I had, say, last week, and as Martha would say, 'that is a good thing'!!! ;)

When I started, I lost 14 pounds in the first week and zero in the second. From that point on, I have lost between 4-8 pounds every week since.

In the beginning (after the first week) I was losing between 3 - 4 lbs. I am now losing 2 - 3 lbs a week. I will take any loss.

Don't get discouraged at the scale. It is a love/hate relationship.

:goodluck:

Hi there,
Lisa is soooo right. Weight loss really is an individual thing. So is weight gain!!! We all know people who can eat and eat and never gain a pound. (That's my hubby) Gerrrrrr.
A weight loss of 2 - 3 pounds each week is a good loss. Remember it will average out. Some weeks less ( or none -- another gerr) and some weeks perhaps a little more. It just depends upon your body.
As for me I am a slooooow loser. But it did come off!!! It took me 4 1/2 months to lose about 45 pounds. But they are gone just the same.
If the scale is discouraging stay off it!!! Dogma is a sloooow loser too but just check out her pictures in the studio. She looks great.

Averaging anywhere between a 1/2lb. and 1lb. a day.... 4-5 lbs. per week. At this rate I figure I will weigh 0lb. sometime late winter next year

I figure in the very near future that rate will start to slow. After 4+ weeks I have had no serious plateaus. Though I do know that they will come soon enough.

I lost 6lbs the first week. After that I lost an average of 3lbs a week. Some weeks I lost more inches than weight. :whoohoo:

Your monthly cycle can cause you to hold onto your weight until the cycle is over.

The key to weight loss is staying on the plan and not letting yourself get discouraged by a small weight loss. You usually lose more the next week if you hang in there.

I am averaging over 13 weeks on plan, about 3.7 pounds a week.

Stick to the plan and you will lose more weight.

Hugs.

Hi

Postby dede4wd » May 17th, 2006, 2:00 pm

I lost 7lbs on my 8th day, and 8 more on my 15th day. After that...my weight loss has averaged to 4.5lbs per week.

Everyone's weight loss is different, but one thing seems to be clear...stick to the plan and the plan WILL work for you! We didn't put this weight on overnight and we don't take it off overnight as well.

After trying EVERYTHING, this is the only plan that worked for me! I truly BELIEVE in it!
