How long before you start losing weight?

I started three days ago, and I've not lost any weight. I'm not terribly concerned about this, but considering the amount of that most people lose in the first week, I'm a little surprised.

When did most of you start to see the pounds drop?

My first week I started on Sunday and weighed on Friday and only resgistered a 4lb loss and was very disappointed. Then 2 days later I weighed for my official one week weigh in and had dropped another 6lbs! Just stick with it, be sure that you are getting all your water in and those pounds will be leaving in no time!

I personally lost weight in my first three days and then nothing my last four days. You could be the opposite. Everyone is different. Your body might not want to lose until its in ketosis and then it might drop weight. Stick with it and you WILL lost weight and quick. I can't lose on diets such as WW but on this one I lose about 2.5-4 lbs a week.

For me, I will stay at the same weight for days, and then one day I will hop on the scale and there will be a big loss. Try not to get on the scale until the 7th day! Good luck!! :D

Could you post your daily schedule for us, any meds, water, and possible stressful events. Maybe we can see something that may be affecting your results....

Most days are the same, so here is my usual schedule. I sit pretty much all day at work (9:30-8:00). LONG DAYS.

8:30 - Wake up, Shower, etc.
9:30 - Go to work, drink a hot cocoa/cappuchino
12:00 - Eat a bar
2:30 - Drink a shake
5:30 - Eat a medifast meal, usually a shake or oatmeal
8:15 - Eat my lean and green (usually chicken and cucumbers w/1 tbsp fat free ranch)
10:15 - Eat a pudding
11:00 - Bed

When I am not working, I try to follow a similar pattern, but I tend to wake up later. My day starts around 11 and goes until a little after midnight.

Your schedule looks good. How you doing on your water?
Taking any meds? Not possibly that time of the month coming, is it?

Even if you're following the plan and everything is right, don't worry bout what the scale's saying. It's physically impossible not to lose weight, if you're on plan. I know it's a little disappounting with these results from the start, but I gaurantee you, you'll be pleased if you stick to the plan.

I drink plenty of water (usually at least 90-100 oz.). The only medicine that I have taken recently is tylenol pm, but I don't think that should affect anything, should it?

I'm a guy...so I don't think it's that time of the month :D

Well it's the start of day five and I've lost a total of one pound. I am a little bothered by this, considering the large amount of water weight that almost everyone else seems to lose. I am a 370 pound guy, so I don't undestand why I have only lost one pound so far.

I know it's a little early to get frustrated, but it seems like I am the only person who hasn't lost a significant amount of weight early.

I would suggest upping the water intake a bit :water: I was told by my Dr to cut my body weight in half and drink that many ounces of water daily. I know this seems like a lot of water but many times when people on here slow in weight loss they up their water and that seems to work for many.

I can drink water, but I don't know if I can manage to drink 185 oz. a day.

YIKES!! I don't know if 185 ounces of water is good for the old kidneys there!!!!! But I'm not a doctor and don't play one on TV either :lol:

I drink about 128 a day and I thought THAT was alot - that's not counting my coffee in the morning and can of diet coke I drink at dinner.

All I can say to you is......drink up!!!!!!!!
