Jeanette ~
Hey, I am really glad to hear that you are back into the Medi-swing of shakin' and slurpin' and yes, journaling is great! Some people are not as disciplined as others but it is a terrific way to begin to analyze patterns and to try to determine triggers for overeating.
In the BIG PICTURE of health, we must think about HOW we got to the point of being out of control with food and then try to change our behaviors so that we do not return to our old BM ways.
Journaling is a great way to begin. Some people benefit from just jotting down a few words on the calendar square for the day. The little check sheets in the Lifestyle Book are helpful.
Sometimes it takes a while to figure out what works best. We are trying to replace old patterns and poor food habits with new thinking, new behaviors and to establish new patterns that lead to long-term life style changes.
Keep on keeping on.
Love ya and love the great advice & encouragement that you give to others. We are the way makers!
