Yeah, the thing about Phoenix heat is that it is not humid. If you are outside for short bursts (like less than 10 minutes) you will not be drenched in sweat. Any sweat you do have will evaporate away. You can breathe. I grew up back east where any temp above the high 80s was practically unbearable because of the blanket of moisture that came with it.
Another nice thing about Phoenix is that everywhere is airconditioned. Houses, apartments, cars, businesses. When I was first looking at houses out here, my Mom would keep asking "does it have AC?". I had to explain to her that you can't find a place without it. Find a dwelling without some kind of cooling system installed, and you have one of 3 things: Cardboard shack, abandoned deathtrap or historical monument.
