How did everyone do this weekend?!

Postby summerblue » May 30th, 2006, 9:20 am

Hello Everyone!

Hope you had a nice 3 day weekend!

I had a little mis-hap - we went to Cracker Barrell - UGH, but I am happy to say I am on MF and after all of that - I didn't gain, but I did excercise too.

I was sooo worried I'd gain.

All of my neighbors are doing a TriAthalon and I am considering doing a Mini-Triathalon in the Fall...........it feels good to be doing ATHLETIC things!

......Have a great week!!!..........Mara
Start Date: September 17, 2006!!!!

I did so-so. It is unfortunately my totm, and it is a very very bad totm :( I spent all weekend eating vicodin like candy and did end up indulging in some beans and a hot dog. I'm back on track today though and trying to work through the pain without the use of vicodin. bleh.

I stayed on plan. Getitng my daughter an ice cream cone brought up a strong temptation for mcnuggets, but I perservered.

I even broke my plateau, and how! 3 pounds down since the weigh-in on Sunday. I think hot weather (90s) has been good for me!

I stayed on plan since the pizza mishap of last week. I finally broke my plateau and lost 2 more pounds.

I went to 2 barbeques, one at my own house. I packed fresh asparagus and had them BBQ it for me, and had it with a small burger. It was hard to not to eat all the macaroni salads and, but every time something tempted me, I would go walk around.

So I had 2 burgers in two days. Which is not really off-plan, so I did good.

I actually cheated yesterday for the first time (other than my planned week in Vegas). I gained a massive five and a half pounds!

I'm sure most of that will be off tommorow though, so I'm not terribly concerned about it. It's over now...there's nothing I can do about it.

I had a really fun weekend. Hubby and I did a huge amount of outside work and planted all of our posies. Yes, it is fun to work when you have the energy to do it and you aren't overheated and out of breath all the time! We also took a nice drive in our Z-3 yesterday when all the work was done. The yard looks great, I stuck to plan, though I had to drink lots and lots of extra water, I got some sun, and life is good.

I stayed on plan the entire weekend. Yesterday was a little difficult, we belong to a club as social members and the pool opened this weekeend. They put on a large BBQ for the holiday. When the wife and kids got hungry I sent them up to the BBQ and I stayed at the pool and had a bar and a bottle of cold water and enjoyed the peace and quite for 30 minutes or so. The smell was tempting but I am focused on being in the 50lb club by June 8th (my first mini goal) so it is truly mind over matter at this point!

I did TERRIBLE this weekend. My son had an out of town baseball tournament so I was away all weekend. I was prepared with plenty of RTDs and packets but...alas, dominos pizza one night, chicken cheesesteak the next and tied up my weekend with a turkey italian sausage on a potato roll! Oh and did I mention the alcohol? Probably not because it would be too much to mention. OOPS, oh well, today was a brand new day and I am back on track. I stepped on the scale this morning and I was back at my same weight from LAST week. However, I take full responsibility. :x I sabotaged my own plan and I have to get over it. I know the more i cheat, the longer I have to stay on plan. This was definitely cheating to the tenth degree!!!

I worked, so it was SOP around here. No such thing as holidays in my business.

Although I did go out Saturday night and have those lobster chops from Red Lobster that everyone was raving about.

Hi

Postby dede4wd » May 30th, 2006, 11:51 pm

I worked on my new kitchen all weekend, so I stayed on plan...That's funny you mention the tri-thing Mara, because I just bought a book called "triathaloning for ordinary mortals." I have a inkling to do one this winter...it's on my "things I must do before I die" list right behind drive a fire truck...

Glad you're back on plan...Cracker Barrel is EVIL!
Hey, did you notice your ticker is on kilograms?

Hey, I'm a nurse. Nurses have to work every frickin' holiday so it was SOP around here, too. Unfortunately, I had to work four 12-hour shifts (I nomally work three shifts) back-to-back so I'm pretty tuckered out and in recovery mode. I have two more interviews today so it's up and at 'em and out the door again.

I did OK and it looks like my 2 week plateau finally ended with the loss of another pound. About the worst thing I had was a bun on a 95% lean burger. My wife made a huge green salad for the weekend so I wouldn't be tooooo tempted by the potato and macaroni salads. I went through over a case of flavored seltzer instead of beer , which was good and I managed to get some of the yardwork done.

I am doing nothing right now but house hunting so I am with Ark and Robin SOP for me. I just know I want to take the quickest route to my goal so for me it is all mind over matter.
