Homemade chicken soup?

Postby GucciGoo » June 3rd, 2006, 7:29 am

Does anyone see any reason why I could not have homemade chicken soup and a side of cooked veggies for dinner?

I would make it with chicken broth, fresh chicken parts, celery, parsley and onions (and I will eat 7 ounces of the white meat cooked chicken).

Is that wrong?

Sounds good- just be sure to leave out the noodles or dumplings!
Shake it if you got it, Baby!

Sounds really like a great idea. I would probably use boneless, skinless, chicken breasts, rather than adding 'parts', to cut down on the fat content of the broth with the added chicken parts. Great recipe to try! Thanks! Joan
