Thanks for your concern. I've been extremely depressed,Irritated and angry for a few days. i think its mostly chemical imbalance.
although i have been having some personal issues on the home front. I don't think its the total cause of my moods.
Tomorrow is march 2nd it will be one month on medifast and i do my final weigh in. so i kinda was holding out posting until i do my month weigh in.

I did srew up the past few days and i didn't eat at all yesterday, and today i didn't eat but had a brownie and coffee. so i promise myself tomorrow starts the new month no matter what!!

:pet: I'm sorry to hear that you have been depressed. Family issues and chemical imbalances, etc. can certainly affect our :snooze: sleeping habits, rile up the emotions and leave us feeling :goofy: lousy.

Holly, if you have been diagnosed with a chemical imbalance, it is imperative that you speak with your doctor in regards to the Medifast program.

Weight loss can affect dosages and if symptoms change, it is necessary to check with a physician to see if dosages or meds need adjustment.

:puter: Now that I'm writing about this subject, I'm just gonna write a few more lines here because there may be others who also are experiencing depression or have a medical condition that could interfere with their compliance with the weight loss program.

Medifast can be used by most individuals for weight loss and certainly as a good nutritional supplement or occasional meal replacement. We recommend that people see their physician for medical supervision to minimize any potential health problems. There are no questionable herbs or stimulants in the products - no ephedrine!

There are some situations that require people to see their doctor before starting the Medifast programs:

* Heart :heart: attack within three months

* Clotting disorders ( :secret: Medifast products have Vitamin K and it can affect clotting and/or bleeding of people take certain meds such a coumadin)

* Recent stroke or recurrent mini-strokes

* Type 1 Diabetes

* Eating Disorders

* Psychiatric disturbances

* Severe kidney or liver disease

* Chronic usage of Corticosteroids greater than 20 mg per day

* Active cancers

* Current Lithium usage

There are special Medifast protocols for people who take a MAO inhibitor or Lithium.

There is a weekly Doctor's support call Wednesday nights at 8:30 PM Eastern Time. There is a topic that is covered the first part and caller's questions are taken also. Call 1 - 646 - 519 - 5860 followed by the Pin number and the pound sign 0 9 7 1 #

Having a Health Advisor is an important part of weight management success. While Health Advisors can assist people with the program and product selections to enhance their weight loss we are not trained health care providers and cannot prescribe or treat people. You don’t want us to do that!

There are many people here that want to help you, Holly and we want to see you find your way, including me.

There are times that we must point people towards their doctor for their expertise.

Take care of you, you are a treasure – and we :hug: care about you!
