Holding Myself Accountable

Postby electra000 » June 5th, 2006, 8:59 am

Hello everyone. I feel that it is important to myself to come here and hold myself accountable. I have had my Medifast products since the end of March. I come here everyday and read about your successes etc. I love the forum and love Medifast. I have just not been able to commit until now. I have had many starts (every Monday), but have not been faithful. I have since read Success in a Shaker Jar and feel like I am in the right mindset now to do this. I will need your help and support.

I have e-mailed unca a picture for my avatar. If I get brave enough I will post before pictures. I am looking forward to the journey with all you wonderful people.

Welcome, Terri. I have a friend in San Angelo who did the same thing, except she eventually gave up and sent me her products. So good for you for actually committing!!! Once you get going, it really WILL get much easier.

Welcome, Terri,

THE MIND IS A TERRIBLE THING TO WASTE , lol, so if you're mind is in the right place to start - by all means JUST DO IT!!! (are those enough commercial references for ya? hehe)

As I saw in another post and thought it was just perfect - I won't wish you luck, I wish you strength! (Sorry, whoever said this first, I can't give you the credit because I spent 4 hours catching up on reading the forum yesterday and my brain is on overload. You know who you are, please post here and take credit.....)

If I'd stuck with it then, I'd be done by now....Do not let this "now" become another "then"

Another poster has this as her signature. It really helped me get back on the band wagon and recommit. Let's make this the last time and make sure we never have to say "If I'd stuck with it then, I'd be done by now" again!

Stay strong, day one is 1/2 way over! You can do this :)

Hi Terri, Welcome back! Maybe, asking yourself to commit one week at a time, might get you started and on the right track? When you see the weight loss at the end of the week, that may be all you need to continue the program. And, everyone is here for you. "Success in a jar" is a great book, lots of inspiration there. Good luck and much success on your new journey--you can do it! :D Joan

Glad to hear it. If it's too hard to commit to a week at a time, how about a day? Or just the next few hours, till your next supplement? You can do this!!!

Electra...glad to see you are now on day 2 of changing your life! If you take it a day at a time you will succeed for sure!

I am on day 54 and just making sure I stay on track today! I haven't always been a 100% compliant all of the other days, but today I have been!

Hope day 2 goes just as well as day 1!
