Hey everyone, I know it has been a few weeks. My son has fractured his foot and my husband is not feeling that well

My quick question is. My husband has reallly high blood pressure. He is really nervous and it is scaring the hell out of me. We do have heart disease that runs both sides of our family.

I would like to know if anyone on this board has high blood pressure. Or did they have high blood pressure. And if so did it get lowered when you went on Medifast. I am trying to convince him to go on medifast. He needs a better diet. He could lose about 50-60#. And I think if we are both on the program we could do it together.

Hi Katie,
1st can I say Happy Birthday

When I started MF my bp always hoovered aroung 130-140/90
Now it is 120/77 That's just in a few months. Probably sooner,since I really did not check it. Going in for cholesteral blood work next week. Cant wait to see those results.

Yes, I had high blood pressure and a number of people who I know on this did also.
After starting this, and losing some weight, we are all either off of have highly reduced our meds. This program is great for controlling and being able to reduce health issues. Many people I know who have high BP, diabetes, high cholesterol are all doing much better with this program.

As a man, I highly encourage your hubby to do this... its not just about weight loss... its about healthy living.
