Greetings to all! I'm a new MFer and just wanted to say hello. I'll be posting tomorrow for the first roll call. I've been on plan for the last 2 weeks or so. Started out at 200.6 and want to get back down to my 130 where I was so comfortable in the past. I'm a physician assistant and it's hard to encourage others to be healthy when I so feel like I am not. So far I've lost several pounds (I think around 6 which feels a lot slower than the last time I did MF) but I'll do the official WI tomorrow a.m. I'll check in daily and read posts for encouragement and will try to add my support for you all when I can-- I just know that my life gets busy with work and I often feel like I'm not able to participate like I should in many things. I do LOVE reading all the posts here, though! Looking forward to sharing the journey!

Welcome, Larahb.

I'm in the first two weeks also and I'm showing a six # loss, too. Here for a visit from the Magical MF Fairy to bring us into the 10# club, soon.

larahb,

Hi there and welcome to our happy home. Guess what?! I'm in Western PA, too. Where are you? I'm pretty close to Punxsutawney Phil, though I've never been there for the festivities.

for all of your warm greetings! It's nice this morning when I'm trying to distract myself from my S-L-O-W loss. When I did MF 2 years ago my first 20 pounds just flew right off and this time, even though I'm being much more compliant, every ounce is a major battle and takes forever. Ah well...

In terms of location, I'm closer to Pittsburgh. Actually near Greensburg/Westmoreland County. I grew up in Ohio, but have been here for the last 15 years. Thank goodness the weather's supposed to break the end of this week, eh? :D

Wow, this is the biggest W PA contingent since I've been around. We should plan a lean & green together sometime. I'm in PGH all the time because my son lives there and he has my grandbabys held hostage there. Get a few more weeks under your belts while I get through the rest of tax season, and then lets talk, k?

Sounds great, but first you have to pass on all the secrets to getting my body to let loose of the pounds they are holding hostage. ;) I think they are bound and gagged!!! Everyone at work keeps asking me why I don't just do weight watchers instead of suffering with all this soy if it takes just as long!!! :x

Look forward to more chats!

Glad to be in the midst of such a successful bunch! Here's hoping I can be just as big of a loser! Boy does that seem weird to write! ;)
