Welcome aboard, Neeko!

You live in a lovely place and the waves I saw in Corpus compared to the waves here on the Oregon and Washington coastline looked rather puny to me - like they were on Medifast! But the warm water temperature is awesome! Luc-ky Girl! The dreams of surfing again will keep you program-compliant and headed toward your 40 pound weight loss goal. Summertime surfing and bathing suits will be part of your life again!

No worries about the food - I am picky, too and was willing to eat food that tasted like cat doo if it helped me to lose weight. Medifast tastes good and being thin is so worth it! You'll do great! Just follow the Quick Start Booklet to the letter and you'll lose weight!
Nothing tastes as good as thin feels...

Hi

Postby dede4wd » March 17th, 2006, 6:20 pm

I just wanted to add a welcome! I'm glad everyone was able to help with your question yesterday and am so glad you're gonna give it a whirl! If I had ONLY started when I was your age!!!!

I am a picky eater too! The great thing is you can sample everything and then order what you like BEST for your next order. I found myself loving things I NEVER thought I'd like and only being "okay" about things I thought I'd love!

All the best to you! I KNOW you'll do great! Just follow the program and you WILL lose!

Welcome!

WOW everyone! Thanks sooo much for all the replies. I feel at home already! :yourock: Veritas..picturing myself the "total babe" on the surfboard pretty much gives me all the motivation I can stand..lol. I will most definitely be checking out the lean and green section..thanks for all the suggestions everyone! Glad I am not the only one who is picky. And here I thought it was rare. Wow..I guess I should be happy I am starting at my age based on what everyone is telling me. I am so happy to have found this forum and weight loss program! And I can't wait to lose the weight! And again..thanks so much to everyone for the replies. It's so good to know you are being supported like this! :woohoo:

Kari, your struggles sound so much like mine. I'm so proud of you for getting on it NOW!!! I didn't, and it spiralled. (I'm now 41 and just started the program on Thursday, initial weight 302 lbs.)

Go get 'em, girl!! Here's to our mutual success!!
