Here's a holiday classic - updated pic May 12th

Postby ktrout » January 1st, 2006, 9:11 pm

Here's one of me at my all-time high of 310lbs Christmas day 2005. My goal is to be down to my desired weight of 175 by Christmas 2006. It'll be a lot of work but well worth it to succeed.

My best to all.

I love your Santa hat! and is that a Christmas bandana on the dog?

135 pounds in 51 weeks works out to 2.65 pounds lost a week... you being of the lucky male persuasion ;) that is definitely possible!

Geez, next Christmas you will have to stuff a pillow or two down your shirt to look like the Jolly Elf!

Hi, ktrout ~

Thanks for posting your picture. Be sure to take your measurements and a couple more pictures for your file - side views and a back view, too. Your picture will serve as a personal reminder of your commitment to get healthy.

No more lying around, feeling blah and aimless for you! You will soon be leaping about, renewed with energy and your focus will be on enjoying your new healthier life. You will surely be at your goal in less than a year and happily at maintenance. Your dog will no longer take you out for a drag but ktrout, you will be stepping lively and livin' it up!

Soy long for now and happy shaking!

Nancy's not kidding

Postby forevertodds » January 2nd, 2006, 12:58 pm

Nancy's not kidding about soon having lots of energy... Today is day four for me and I have energy to spare. My hubby and kids keep saying I'm putting more than irish creme flavoring in my shake  . The only problem I have today is boredom. I use to fill up my day "grazing" , now I need a few good books to read!!!

Keep Going!!!

Hah! I had a lady tell me now that she is Medifasting, she has so much more time to read and do fun things since she is not in the kitchen preparing meals. She is giving her kids more vegetables and healthier foods, too - it is so noisy with them crunching celery and cucumbers she can't hear her TV shows!

Nancy and Kathy I cannot agree more with you two. I used to spend a huge amount of my time either grazing in the pantry or fridge or preparing snacks between meals. With Medifast I know exactly what my next meal is and when I'm going to eat it. I took my 4 weeks supply and set it up in daily ziplocks so I don't have to worry about "what's next" to eat. It also allows me to throw it in my bag and take it to work. I feel great here on day 6 and I could not be happier with the weight loss so far.

Take care

This pic is an update after about 2 months and 54 pounds. I'm about 40% of the way to my goal of 175 lbs.

ktrout ~

Awesome, Dude!

re: his Ping Poing picture way way way ^ there:

Now he's not only a shaker but a mover, too! How cool is that you helped Habitat for Humanity AND helped your  , too by getting some exercise in after work.

You've gone from being a :couch: Couch Potato to having fun with others. :bouncieball:

:you: are special!

Ktrout, now that we see you :exercise: posing in front of the fireplace there is such a super difference between your starting photo and this one.

Oh, Man! You are wearing a TUCKER! Yup, it's a TUCKER all righty!

:idontknow: Ya TUCKED your shirt in! No more of those hangdown shirts!!!

You look almost as fabulous as Leopard Woman!

I am proud of you! :trophy:

(OK, Big Ron, we will be :felix: for you to post you In-Process Pix, too!)
