Help me help me! Aunt Flo tried to put evil thoughts into my head of eating a donut with my coffee! She is relentless! Evil, Evil aunt Flo! :x
I can tell these next few days are going to be soooo challenging. OK, where is that jar of pickles?-----and its only 8:55 am!

Just tell yourself that you CAN have an extra shake should you decide to. Sometimes during TOM you need a few extra calories to keep the evil thoughts at bay ... and that is OKAY. Heck - it's a whole lot better to have an extra 100 calorie MF supplement than to have a box of cookies, right?

Try to keep yourself occupied; grab a book and read for awhile or go to the movies, or go shopping (at a non-foodie store of course -- my fav is Kohl's), take a leisurely walk around the block. Don't Don't Don't watch TV. Too many food commercials during your weak time here. It's all about setting yourself up for success not failure. You've taken the first step and came to the forum for support instead of to your pantry. You are to be congratulated for that!

You can do this -- just think of all you've accomplished so far!!!

I agree - add a shake. You can always make some MF Oatmeal Cookies with lotsa Sugar Free Davinci Syrup... kicks my sweet craving and takes about 20 mins to make. By the time they are ready I usually am over the worst part!!

:x Aunt flo the evil. I wonder if all month I'd not effected by her. I get only a week of being sane.
The hot choc works good and I save that for evening when the snack attack hits.

Thanks girls! I think I will do the cookies for breakfast. :oops: Better than the chocolate donuts.(Hazard of having 4 kids and a husban with a sweet tooth) I'll try doing some extra shakin when the cravins get to me. I keep forgetting about the book saying that extra shakes won't slow down weight loss but other foods will. My loss for this week was minimal so that plays with your head you know? I know it is due to the Evil Flo Master so I won't let her win and by golly next week I'll show her a thing or two on the scale!

That is so funny and prior to Medifast I felt the same way. Why did I only feel right maybe 5-7 days a month....but the best effect MF has had on me is the BALANCE in my body...unbelievable :D ...So the Evil Flo Master can no longer dominate my Medi-fast-ing ..shakin bod :dance:
