Hi Everyone!
I'm an oldie from January 2004, I started medifast at 193 pounds and by May 20 2004 (4 months) I lost 50 pounds....I then relocated to another state and with all the hustle & busle I left my medifast safe & sound in the boxes I packed to move. As days then months passed me by (8 months) I felt a little snug in the pants I now wear and realized that I better jump back on the medifast wagon before I had to go out and buy more clothes. I finally got brave and stepped back on the scale and realized I was back up to 153 . Good news is I only gained 10 pounds in 8 months......bad news is I best get it off before it turns in to 50. I know without a doubt that when you slack think medifast! I started back on medifast saturday and have lost 2 pounds so I have 8 more to go just to get to what I was....However, I still have a long way to go because I haven't reached my goal weight yet.
It's so great to see people still on the forum and as always everyone is so supportive of each other. I hope that everyone here sticks to the shakin and doesn't do as I did and think that just because things change around you that you can forget your goals. It only adds to the stress of everyday life and before you know it the scales climb and your health wavers.....we all know how we feel then. So Dear Friends (Old & New) of the medifast forum lets keep it shakin and stay true to ourselves, this medifast works if you will stick to the program and then learn to maintain your weight. I have 27 pounds to go just to be at the weight I was when I became happily married.....I will succeed!
Wishing each and everyone of you many days of shakin and a whole lot less aching
