Guess the "What's Shakin'" forum is the right place to post this.

Hope all our Island members are safe and sound.

Ditto. Being a Californian, I know how scary EQs can be . I hope everyone's all right...

Hula Girl checked in already in another thread, in the Come On In area. She said she's OK but had been without power for a while, and that the others probably can't check in because of the power outages. So hopefully we'll hear from them soon.

Hi Unca! And all of our MF Ohana (family)!

Thank you all for your concern for us in the islands!

We are fine hear on the island of Oahu. We suffered only minimal damage and islandwide power outage. We are now contending with a passing tropical storm, but it looks like we will just see heavy rains from that. The Big Island received the most damage to roads and structures but no major injuries or fatalities were reported. Thank God that they are all safe.

I haven't checked in with Alohacate, but she should be okay, since she lives only a few miles from me.

Thanks again for the outpouring of thoughts and concern for us!!

Aloha!!!
