weight loss post

Postby church » March 16th, 2005, 8:31 am

I have been unable to post as churchie my registered name? Just wrote Unca Tim. TY Radearle for letting me know it went through.

I came in as a guest I guess. I was so excited to share the new weight loss news, typed up this big long post and was bounced off! Oh well, off into cyber world.

Anyhow, just got back Monday from my doctor's I weigh every 6 weeks at her office and do not get on a scale in between which has been tough, but I know I will obsess otherwise about the poundage and cause myself too much stress. I am trusting the process of Medifast.

I really did not believe this was going to work. I have been through so much the past several years with illness and weight stuff.

As of March 14, 2004 71 pounds!
10 I lost right before starting Medifast on Dec 1, 2004. Only 3 and 1/2 months and 61 pounds that is unbelievable. I even needed to go buy some clothes to hold me over to goal weight. My goal loss is 116 pounds 45 to go.........I cannot believe it. I had tried everything including LA weight loss, my metabolism shut down my doctor said. It was so discouraging. This is a miracle! I am so excited! I have energy again and can move around better. It did not cure some of the illness I have, however, sure makes it more bearable.

I am so grateful. My doctor's office has started quite an extensive program for overweight people she even asked if I would be willing to talk to a few of the patients I am honored.

I am very grateful to Nancy and the Success in a Shaker Jar book helps me a lot and also Dr a Anderson on Wed. My computer has been weird apparently and posts not going through hopefully now it can be rectified.

I am considering taking the health advisor test. We shall see. Also people posting the before and after pictures helps a lot and inspires me. Hawaiiwhatnot, Radearle, Missshrinkinglady......amongst many others thank you and of course Nancy.

I wish everyone a happy shaking week.

WOW!!! CONGRATS!!!! I am SO happy for you!

:cheerleader:

71 pounds is a HUGE sack of flour! ;) You have every right to be proud of your awesome success, and I think it's just terrific that you want to share your successes with others who are struggling with the same problem. How great that your doctor wants you to counsel others on weight loss! Heck, why not take the HA test? You obviously know how to lose on MF! ;) And it would be a great incentive to keep the weight off!
