HAVE I BEEN DOING MF WRONG

Postby kimalexrn » June 27th, 2005, 3:57 pm

I STARTED MF OF MAY 9, 05. I'VE BEEN DOING 3 SHAKES, 1 SOUP, EITHER PUDDING OR A BAR BEFORE I GO TO Bed". I HAVE MY LEAN AND GREEN FOR DINNER. I THOUGHT 5 MF MEALS AND THEN A LEAN AND GREEN TOTAL FOR THE DAY. AND WATER. AM I WRONG? ALSO WHAT IS IT WITH THE PICKLES? AND FREE FOOD. ARE THE FREE FOODS COUNTED AS 1 OF THE 5 AND 1 OR WHAT? I HOPE THIS MAKES SENSE. I WANT A CLEAR UNDERSTANDING :? AM I EATING MY BARS AT THE WRONG TIME?

HELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP MEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

It looks like your totals are correct. On the 5 and 1 plan, you eat 5 medifast meal replacements (any combination you want) and one lean and green meal (in the proportions as stated regarding amount of lean and amount of green.)

The bar has the most calories, so it would be better to eat the bar earlier in the day rather than right before bedtime.

The pickles and celery are "extra things" you can have, just like the boullion. Stick to the amounts that are listed with these items.

It sounds like you are doing the plan correctly.

Hi Kim,
Are you spacing your meals out about every 3 hours? The first being within an hour of waking up.

Don't forget a minimum of 64oz (8 glasses) of water, up to your body weight divided by 2. The water is nearly as important as the meal plan.

Could you explain this further (before someone drinks 150 pounds of water)?

Thanks Unca
