Weird! I'm a lawyer, too (but for the government). What a group of overeducated dieters!!!

After all my pre-Medifast dieting experiences I thought I was a well-educated dieter who was an educator; my faulty education about nutrition left me totally uninformed. I am still learning, am in the process daily of becoming a better educated diet educator!

It is fun to say goodbye to the big baggy clothes. But I have kept one pair of pants from several years ago when I was at my highest weight. It's a good reminder!

Seriously though, that's a lot of lawyers!

One is the green slacks I was wearing when I had my car accident on October 30, 2002. I gained about 35 pounds as a result of forced inactivity following that accident, and I want to wear them again. They were new at the time -- was probably only the third or fourth time I had worn them, and I miss them! Fitting into them is probably only ten pounds away at this point. Actually, I tried them on last night, and I can zip and button them, but they are too tight to wear still.

Ahem!

I wore the green pants yesterday -- BECAUSE I CAN!!

They fit exactly right. Not tight, not loose. I can (just) stick a thumb in between the waistband and my body.

Yesterday, I wore the entire outfit that I had worn on October 30, 2002, when my car was totaled and I was injured. BECAUSE I COULD!!

YAY!!!!!

YAY!!!!! That must feel awesome!!!! :cheerleader:

But it's such a shame that soon you'll have to toss them out when you shrink right out of them!!!

My second bedroom's closet holds all my "waiting for me" clothes. I bought a pair of size 8 leather jeans a few years ago when I was wearing an 18. Those and my high school jeans are my goals. Yes, I graduated from high school in 1976, but I still want to get my butt into those jeans. I could probably make money off those things because they are ancient!

At this point, if I could get into my size 22W jeans I'd be happy. I haven't been able to wear them the last year since I put all my weight back on when I moved back to Houston in 8/2003. I can't even get in my fat jeans, how sad is that? Welcome to the fattest city in the country Jen -- so I guess I had to do my part.

24KaratGold, Rae and Sylvia, I'm also in law, but not a lawyer, I support them. I'm a legal assistant. Sounds like all of you are corporate-type lawyers. I don't know how your offices are, but every law office I've ever worked in is a food trap! Everything revolves around food, ARRGH!

24 Karat Gold ~

Woo hoo! Sounds great that you had a Medifast Moment when you tried on and wore your green car accident outfit. I can't wait to hear about the new Medifast Outfits that you will buy to remind you of the day you reached your optimal weight.

Isn't this fun? Makes shaking worth it, eh?

Yay! They fit! I wore them today!!!

OK,just found this string and thought I would give my incentive clothing. Two years and 1 baby ago my husband bought me a $1,000 Victoria Secret wardrobe. Dear sweet man that he is, he has NO concept of what size I am. I didn't fit in the stuff then and not even close to fitting in them now but I am determined to give him his money's worth when I reach my goal! :hmmm: Don't worry, I won't be sending any pictures out!! I will let you know when I fit into them again.

Here is my dream. I want a pair of size 8 jeans, and I don't want to have lie down and break a sweat to zip them!!

Lissakay ~

Oh yeah! Most jeans are not any too stretchy - oh, they'll give a little bit here and there but for the most part, they are not at all forgiving when it comes to checking the rearview mirror, eh? I like your goal - it is very specific and we can all relate...to have them zip when one is vertical is an awesome thing to behold! You are gonna get there, Girl. Your right arm will also be buff from all that shaking you're doing.
