I'm new also, today's my second day. I have the same concerns about exercising, but I'm not a dancer
As far as I've read it's not recommended to work out as much as normal or to begin because it's such a low calorie diet.
The website says "Over exercising will actually slow your weight-loss progress."
I've done very low calorie diets before and I was told the exact opposite. I was told that when you're on such a low calorie diet your body will be more prone to slowing down it's metabolism and a healthy way to combat that is to workout. Working out, according to that theory, would boost your metabolism and deter it from slowing down from the lack of calories.
As far as I can tell the bottom line is pretty much that you should workout only when it will be beneficial and not compound the "shock" to your system. Most people in general are not already very very active when they start a very low calorie diet. So I believe for those people who do have above average daily physical activity it is reasonable to maintain that activity because it would be more of a shock to the system to stop than to start. BUT that's just MY opinion and I'm absolutely not a certified nutritionist or physical trainer.
But yeah, if you find out anything about it further let me know, ok? Because I'd like to know the actual answer too.
