I use Mary Kay's Satin Hands. I use the whole kit once a week, but use just the handcream daily.

Hi

Postby dede4wd » March 31st, 2006, 9:22 pm

Marseilles,

I'm in St Petersburg now, was in Homestead last week, was in Gainesville the week before that and was in Daytona the week before that. Nothing wrong with this fine state, but this Desert rat's getting a bit too humidified! Plus, I'd like not to duck underdoorways anymore because I'm 7' tall with the big hair! So, I'm getting a reprieve, by going to Ft Worth next week!

Back to the topic...the only dryness I'm having is my nose/nasal packages! I don't know if it's because I've got a whole new set of allergies here, or what, but my skin, hair & nails are good!

dede,
The pollen here in St Pete is currently insane - my car is covered with a fine yellow powder, as is just about everything else, so allergies are something to get used to if you spend any time here :) And if you think this is humid, come back for a visit this summer ;)

Yeah, Shana-

I saw the evil yellow dust all over my black equipment. I said "uh oh, this is gonna suck!" The extra-glamorous part of traveling is not knowing what's gonna make me sneezy and eye wattery at this new place! I wasn't bagging on Florida, I've just been here a month and am ready for a change of hairstyle!

lol I've lived here just under a year & let me tell you, as a naturally curly girl, summers here are like a very bad joke... or an electrocuted lamb ;)
Let me know if you need me to bring you some benadryl!

Sorry for the thread hijack :)

I think our hair is growing because of the protein. If your skin is dry you need to drink more water.

I drink about 150 ounces a day, so I don't think lack of water is my problem.
